I wonder if you'd prefer my sadness be colourful
Dripping glitter and disguised in pink velvet
For it to come together in a tightly wrapped box refusing to open up to you
And when Its finally as silent as can be I wonder if you'll wonder why I never screamed
But not until the box becomes a casket wide open and you stare at your palms
Will you realize how tightly you've been clenching it shut
