you left today
and as life went away
you slipped into a deep pleasure
realizing that who you are is enjoyable and nothing of what you thought
as life skipped away it seemed as though you're the only one left to love
the only one who's been there through it allyou'll hold your body as if it's a new found treasure, discovering everything life denied you
as the lies slip away you'll finally reap what took so many years to sow
and you will devour your taste as if its the sweetest, most ripe fruit
because as life goes away and you open your newborn eyes it appears as though it has only begun
and you'll be so glad you let life run
