A week flew by like no one's businesses. Today was the day that Anthony would try out for the Syracuse crunch.
"hey are you still coming." He asked
" of course I'm coming, I wouldn't miss it for the world." I said back
Over the past week me and Anthony have really connected I think I'm starting to fall for him but I'm sure he doesn't even need a girlfriend right now due to hockey.
" already then let's do this thing" he said well opening the door to the car.
We go to the arena where the Syracuse crunch played. Anthony grabbed his bag from the trunk, then we went our separate ways. I made my way into the arena and found my seat. As I said down I notice a girl in a Yanni Gourde jersey.
"Hey, are you new here?" She asked
"Yes I am. I'm here for a friend." I said
" ha ha ha, that's what I said not even a year later we started dating." She said while laughing
"Who are you hear to see ?" She asked
"Anthony Cirelli" I said
Wow his name sounded hot out loud
"Ooooo the new kid. We heard he's good." She said
"You look familiar... wait are you McDavid sister?"she said
" oh boy how do you know McDavid." I said while rolling my eyes in disbelief that someone knew me
" oh my gosh my name is Marie are used to hang out with you guys when we were six" she said
" oh my God Marie you're dating Yanni Gourde now" I said in shock
"Yes I am, omg what a small world."
We ended up talking the whole try out but I still watched Anthony. He played hockey like nobody's business. You can tell he wanted to be there, and in all honesty I think he could go pro.
after tryouts the boys were tired and were told that the results will be posted tomorrow. Me and Marie waited for the boys to come out and both of ours came out at the same time laughing and giggling.
"What's so funny boys" Marie asked
" nothing we were just talking about how we didn't know one of the plays and how Cirelli over here somehow knew what to do" yanni said
"Dude pure luck" he said smiling and then lookin at me
"Hey!" He said to me with big smile and giving me a hug
" you did great!" I said while breaking the hug.
" Yanni this is Cirelli's friend Emily we grew up together funny enough" Marie said
"Oh friends ... I bet" he said while he laughed "Wow how crazy y'all knew each other"
"I know right! Hey well since we are going out would you guys like to come?" Yanni said
"We would love too!" Anthony said and looked down at me to make sure I was okay with him taking over that statement.
I nodded and we all walked out to our cars and went to dinner.
