"OMG" we both said at the same time
"You made it! You made the team. I am so proud." I said while jumping into his arms
"Thank you! I honestly couldn't have done it without you." He said
"Yes you could have." I said
"No like really, I don't think I could have. The tryout I thought of you and it would calm me down when I was stressed out about the whole thing. There is just something about you" He said while looking into my eyes
"Maybe it's because we are the run aways and we have a bond." I said while giving a little laugh
Since he made the team he had a couple team meetings he had to go to so I took that to my advantage and decided I wanted to get him a gift. I waited for an Uber to take me to the mall. Once I was there I looked for a close jewelry store. I walked in know exactly what I was looking for. I bought the bracelet and then left and went back to the hotel. I didn't know that the meeting was so short bc he was back and all of our things were packed up.
"Well hello" I said
" okay I have some good but maybe bad news"
"Oh no" I got really worried
" so this is only bad if you say no but the team has to provide me with living and they game me a studio apartment and I was hoping you would want to come too !!" He said
" omg I would love too !" I said while I jumped in his arms
He hugged back and we had our little moment until someone knocked on the door.
"Maid here" some lady said
"Well that is are sign to leave" he said
We packed up his rental car and drove to the apartment. We pulled up and it was absolutely beautiful. Anthony had the most cutest smile on his face. We unpacked our stuff and sat down on the coach give to us.
"I have a gift for you." I said
"What, why" He asked
"Well, I know we just met, but I know how hard you worked to make the team and I know you were thinking of me to calm down, so I got you one more thing to calm you down while you are out there." I said while pulling out the bracelet.
"Oh my gosh Emily I love it. It's just like my old one." He said while standing up and giving me a big hug
I never wanted to let go, but we did, then made eye contact. Neither one of us could look away. His brown eyes connected to my blue eyes. We kept getting closer and closer until our lips met. His lips we so soft. I have never felt this safe before. Then like that is was over, we were back to looking into each other's eyes.
