Valentine's Day special

Haii wonderful beings! Just saying this special will be planned when Lotus and Rurik are let's say..... 16-17 years old. :D mkay les get to it! (Btw I'm sick so plz don't mind if things are messed up and wierd 👍🤧)
Lotus's pov
I stopped at the doors. It's really Valentine's Day already, ha yet my mind thought it was still January. But better yet Rurik asked me to go to the movies! And I got to pick the movie! Although there aren't any really good films out,  there was one movie I always wanted to see. Long story short the movie was in an outside cinema also the genre was kinda a horror. I love outdoor theatres too, especially night ones cause I can see the stars. I walked out of my house and ran to Rurik's truck. I got in, smiled at him, then buckled myself. I looked at Rurik and hugged him. I'm really, really excited.

Rurik's pov
I was kind of... nervous? Scared? I don't know. I saw him smile at me then get buckled in. He then hugged me. Ugh he's so damn cute when he smiles. I just never want him to stop smiling. Anyway he's sorta my crush... yeah I know weak. It's just that sometimes I just wanna hug him, then at other times I just wanna kinda kiss him I guess. I sighed and started driving with Lotus, obviously myself, and certain thoughts. I asked Lotus if he wanted to go to the mall after the movie because it only started at like 7:45, he accepted. I wonder which movie he picked. We then got to the outside theatre.  There were so many shining glistens in the sky. I got out of the the truck and Lotus did the same. We didn't sit anywhere we literally just sat in the trucks bed floor. Ads on the screen stopped playing and then the movie started. I could tell by the music at the beginning that the subject was horror. I silently asked Lotus if he wanted popcorn. He didn't but I still did, but I didn't want him to be left alone. Oh, but I don't wanna show weakness since theres other people at the lot. Screw it, I jumped off the truck and then walked to the little store and bought popcorn. God dammit for popcorn at a cinema that thing was cheap. I ran back to the truck to see a confused Lotus. I explained the situation and sat back in the bed floor. A couple gory-ish scenes happened but we weren't that scared by it. Lotus and I happen to take a liking to horror movies. It's wierd but I wouldn't actually like this movie so far if Lotus didn't choose it, well if that makes any sense. The movie ended and it was practically 8 o'clock. I enjoyed it, and so did Lotus. I got off the outside trunk and got inside the actual truck. Lotus did the exact same and sat there staring at me. I was surely confused but stared back.

Lotus's pov
I stared at Rurik, focusing on if I should do it or not. I kissed him, hugged him again, then repeatedly said, "Thank you."
He hugged me back and chuckled. I curled up in a ball out of how embarrassing that was. Why did I do that?! I slowly turned my head, not realizing that the vehicle was moving. He didn't look at me, which was ok??? I looked at the moving road. It wasn't really flat, but hey at least it's pavement instead of sand or dirt! I relaxed into the leather seat. I sat up and began looking at the sky. I looked back and we were at the mall already!

Rurik's pov
I parked in the parking spot that didn't really take that long to find since it was kind of late.

I bought a rose for Lotus, I asked him to to stand outside the store so he couldn't see it. I walked out of the store after paying for it. I hid it behind my back and told Lotus to close his eyes. I took the rose and put it in front of me. I then told him to open his eyes. He looked shocked which was a little funny. He smiled at me and took it. I brought out my phone and took a picture. I'm gonna frame it one day. This couldn't be any better could it?

EEEEEEE I did it! Is it cute? Do you think it's part of the story? Is it ok? Ugh so excited to post this. Okay anyway special people, aliens, and potatoes 800 words. Love uuuuu.
