Lotus's pov

I stopped in my tracks. I felt like someone was there, and it wasn't Rurik because I believe he went into the bedroom.I certainly felt off. Not weird or uncomfortable just off. It wasn't bothering me, but I fucking surely didn't enjoy it. I looked around,throughout  the house, and even through the windows. No one was there. Weird.....
Just weird. I tried to shrug it off, but I just couldn't!

After making waffles :)... Relatable person: Lego my eggo!  Me: wrong! Although funny reference. (Still laugh at old me sum times :>

I set the waffles on a plate then began to add strawberries on top of it. I put decorations on them and the plate like strawberries and whip cream, and chocolate drizzle. I would personally make my mouth water due to me not having much food and or because it looks good. I then began thinking, 'Where would I be if I would have accepted Rays confession?' I know, I know weird, but a really good question to think about in my case. I chuckled as I thought of the possibilites. Anyway, I made a couple of waffles for myself, then started to bring it to the dining room. I was a little surprised when I saw Rurik already at the table. He was resting he forehead on his palm. I asked, "R-Rurik are y-ou ok?" He mumbled something I couldn't understand so I replied with, "uh w-what was that?"
" I'm fine." I sat the plates on the table, shaking a bit still being startled. The doorbell then rang. I didn't know if Rurik's invited someone so I waited. He didn't do anything but eat his food, so I walked to the door and answered. I looked at the person, I then realized who it was. "*gasp*____! "
