Ma and pa keep fighting. They never stop. I sometimes I wonder why. Ruth just shrugs it off and tries to play with books from mothers bookshelves. About books, ma sometimes reads them but never actually does. Pa kept on pestering him about something. Neither me or Ruth could understand what that thing was that dad wanted mom to do nor did Ruth care. Until I no longer saw all the books and flowers or any of the pictures. Except one broken picture.
