In love there's tenacity and persistence to stay and they're equally enough excuses to leave, but circumstances were never reason enough to lose or forget. Circumstances can only be caused by Coward's argument.

~Unknown

I asked Jeffrey to promise not to talk about leaving again, i just want to live in the moment, enjoy the few weeks we have together.

We basically meet everyday, he picks me from school almost everyday, Sometimes, i forget that he's actually going away soon, this is the life i want, this is the life i signed up for.

For weeks, I've been budging him to meet my Parents, but he didn't see the need to, i wonder why, but he doesn't want to say the reason. Anyway, he has finally gave in and my Parents were coming home this weekend

It was the D-day, Jeffrey and I were home before my Parents, i told them about him and how they could meet him the next day but they insisted they meet him the day they come back and in their words "they wanted to get it over with asap"

Throughout the night I had two thoughts taunting me and my heart aches. Will he love me after meeting the monsters I call my parents? Will these monsters accept these great guy? The latter being the most crucial, Jeffrey had to meet them. The earlier the better.

Seeing the way Ryan was interacting with Jeff pleased my heart, I somehow felt jealous of their boys talk. After twenty minutes of quietly listening I had to ask

"Can you guys speak a Language i understand?"
   They both laughed

"I think we are thirsty. Aren't we?" Ryan asked Jeff who nodded in approval

"Nerdy boy" I joked before reaching for a lemonade. Jeff and Ryan had been getting along since when they first met and the only part that gives me pang in the heart is meeting the parents.

I have no idea what devilish plan they're working on since they have the library door closed behind them, as if to ignore jeff.

Miss London appeared with a tray of freshly baked ginger bread for the boys

She smiled at me motherly as if assuring me everything's going to be fine. I took a cookie and sat across the boys pretending to understand what they were saying

"Excuse us" Mr Belkin cleared his throat with Mrs Belkin Right beside him. I looked at Jeffrey and he looked like he wasn't breathing. His heart was forced to shut down... Yes they had that effect on anyone. Ryan was unfazed by their entrance..

" Mom.. Dad, we didnt hear you come in" I blurted, unsure of what to say

They both smiled reluctantly at us And i just smoothen the Burgundy cocktail gown I chose to wore for the auspicious event.

"Now that you are here i, I think I have things to do in the lab" Ryan stood up "zee you around man" he patted jeff on his back casually and exited the awkward meeting after whispering "good luck" to me.

Jeffery stood up, cleared his voice and said
"Mr and Mrs Belkin, my name is Jeffery Rowland, its a pleasure to meet you" he said and extended his hand for a handshake, he didnt get any so he just sat back

"You're a footballer, she said, what club do you play for?" My Dad threw the question directly at Jeffrey

Jeffrey answered and took if from there, carefully and wisely keeping his hands to himself while he answered the million questions my Parents were throwing at him. The next question broke the Silence of my thoughts
