"what happen to you Cathryn?" Dakota asked, "i don't know what happen last night, why are you asking?" Dakota was silent for a while before she responded "when you came back, one of the guys from downstairs was carrying you and you were passed out. It was one of the scariest things that ever happened to either one of us" she said hugging me "your so cold" "i have to leave," i said picking up my daughter. i needed to go some where to think, and my apartment was not the place to think
I retreated to the woods and went to the fence, i was scared, i don't know what was happening, and oh god, when i tell Dakota! she will be furious that i didn't tell her, i have to get under control... "oh, im sorry baby girl, i completely forgot i had you with me. Want to go to the park?" i whispered to her and she just answered with those big blue eyes of hers. I felt this burning sensation in my throat, it was a taste for something i couldn't quite figure out. There was a man nearby, and hes seemed not to notice me. i set Rose down on a blanket i brought with me and walked over to him, the closer i got the more delisous he smelled "can i help you young one?" he said but i didnt respond, all i knew is that my sences took over and i didnt know what i was doing
I tried fighting it but it was too strong, what i could control was my voice "im sorry sir..." i managed before i sank my teeth into the thin skin of his neck. he tasted delisous, once the burning sensation in my throat was gone, i stoped in my tracks and immedately knew what i just did. I looked in horror at what i did and immediately took out my phone and dialed 9-1-1 and of corse, i was gone before they got there.
I was frightened, and i didnt know what was happening, i might have to leave, but wait, i didnt have much money to leave. Oh my gosh what am i going to do?
"Cathryn... what are you doing here at," she checked her watch "11:10?" "im sorry Dakota, but i need to tell you something, but im not sure if your going to believe me..."
a few minuets later...
"Your a vampire? Cathryn, it's not making sence-" "this makes perfect sence! I can run from one side," i ran vamp speed across the room "to the other" i said calmly. This was one of the hardest things i ever did...
"My best friend is a vampire? Oh ogre, how am I going to handle this?
