So last Christmas we went out and played a few Christmas pieces and sang a few Christmas songs at a church in Nairobi. We were given this piece of music to play.
It was arranged by one of the people that was in charge of the concert so that our Wind Ensemble could play along with all the choirs. The annoying thing is that it was clearly written first for a choir and then adapted for the band because the key is awful. Just for reference, I play the flute. (At least it's better than the other piece they gave us. That one went up to three sharps.) Anyway, in both those pieces, almost none of us played because we hadn't been given it early enough to have plenty of time to practice and it was so difficult to play.
Anyway, the most amusing part of the piece was a mistake that my brother pointed out. He plays the flute as well but I think it was on all the pieces. If you didn't see it in the one above, take a look at this.
It says 'angles' instead of 'angels'. Slight difference, don't you think?
Anyway, have a good day!
Bye!
