I sit in the centre of the stone disk looking up at the few skylights in the ceiling. A beautiful sight through such a small gap, the birds flutter by elegantly.
I think I'll sleep here tonight. I get up and sit beyond the hundreds of rows of wooden seats. Slouching uncomfortably I twiddle my thumbs. I shift in my seat and watch the windows as the flight-animals have their fun while I'm sitting here. The sun arches overhead with a bright glow of gold and butterscotch. "Hm...how beautiful," I mumble slowly to myself
I hear footsteps echo through the halls and into the stone dome. I think I knew who this was. I hoped I knew who his was. Gellert entered the room and looked down on me like an unknown alien species.like I was dirt. A slave. I didn't like that look. Not one bit.
He made his way down the steps,each foot pronouncing an echo.
A smirk slithered it's way onto his face, why is what I'm asking.
