Guess what?
I'm passing all my classes
with flying colors!

I was so excited when Mcgonagall told me that I smiled all the way back
to the common room.

People looked at me weirdly because
I had such a cheeky grin in my face
that it hurt after a while.
But I didn't care. I was working
hard and I was proud.

When I arrived at the common room, you and the rest of our friends
were there. Scattered around the room, but there nonetheless.

I didn't said anything when I arrived,
I just sat down and rested my head
in my hands. My hair was messy,
but I didn't bother to make it pretty,
I was just so happy.

The rest noticed my uncommon mood, and looked at me, you kept looking
in my eyes with a small smile
in your face.

❝Someone's in a good mood❞
James said, raising an eyebrow.

I just turned to see him and
nodded, keeping the smile in my face.

❝And what is the cause,
if we may asked❞
You said leaning back,
crossing your arms across your chest.
I looked over at you and my smile
grew wider.

❝Nothing in particular❞
I said tiling my head slightly.
❝I just talked to Mcgonagall about
my grades❞

❝How'd go?❞
Remus asked by my side,
still reading his book.

I turned to see him and
leaned over to his side.
❝Let's just say that I'll be burning lot of notes after what she told me❞

He looked up from his book with a surprise look in his face. He analyzed
my face and smiled as well.

Remus put his book down and
lean over to hug me, giving me
pads in the back.

❝Congrats, Sam, you deserve it❞
he said, squeezing my shoulder.

❝Thank you, Rem❞
I said smiling.

❝Care to tell us as well or
should I read your mind?❞
I heard your voice asked.

I slowly turn to see you
and smirked. I nodded and put
my hands in my lap.

Before I could answer however,
another voice talked over me,
making us look up.

❝Congratulations, Sam, Professor Mcgonagall told me❞
Lily said smiling wide at me.

I nodded and smiled.
❝Thank you, Lily❞

❝What?❞
James asked confused.
Lily rolled her eyes and turned around, making James follow her to catch up.

After that, everyone
started to talk about random things, forgetting what had happened.

It wasn't until moments
later when I stood up to go to the dorm
that I felt you grab my arm lightly, making me sit next to you.

❝So, what happened Sammy?❞
You asked scanning my
face, ignoring completely the
rest of the room.

I smiled widely at you
and told you everything
the professor told me.

You just smiled the whole
time and put your hand next to mine, they were brushing for
the proximity, but they were there.

Oh Sirius, I really want
to continue feeling this way.
And if you're there to watch me go through it, it will make me ten
times more happier.

After all, when I think of
what gives me happiness,
I think of you.
