"Cora! Get down here before we're late please! Colleen yelled.
"I'm TRYING my hair looks like crap. I hate this." I replied none to flattered about driving to the airport to pick up Colleen's boyfriend, Joshua.
"Why do I even have to go?" I asked in a whiny voice.
"I was your age once. Nice try. I know the second I left your boyfriend will come over with all of his friends." Colleen replied seriously.
"You know I have literally no friends besides Nick right now. And besides, you were homeschooled when you were my age. You didn't even know anyone."
"That's not important." She answered bitterly.
She hates it when I bring up her homeschooled years. I knew it too. Sometimes it's good to bother her a little.
Normally, I would've fought a lot harder about going to the airport with her but seeing that I didn't know when I was going to see my parents were going to return I figured I'd stay on her good side.
