I put my hair up in a high ponytail and walk to the living room to see Ethan and Tom standing there just looking at each other.
Violet; Shit.
I say under my breath as I walk over to them.
Violet; Tommy.
I say while hugging him.
Tom; V.
He mimics.
Violet; What are you doing here?
I ask as we pull away.
Tom; I'm staying with Elle and helping her pack.
Violet; Pack what?
Tom; Everything that belongs to her.
Violet; Everything?
Tom; Yeah.. um, who's he?
He says, looking at Ethan. I look down thinking about what Tom just said about Elle leaving. Tom waves his hand in front of my face bringing me back into the conversation.
Violet; I'm sorry, what?
Tom; Who's he?
Violet; Oh, this is my boss, Mr. Dolan.
Tom; Why is he here?
Violet; To pick me up for a meeting.. wait, I um, gotta take a call.
I said while still thinking about Elle.
Ethan; We gotta go.
Ethan interrupts my thoughts. I look at Ethan then back at Tom.
Violet; Right.
Tom and Ethan look at each other like they hate each other.
Violet; Um Tom, I'll see you tomorrow.
He hugs me and kisses my forehead.
Tom; Okay, have fun.
He walks away to Elle's room so I turn back towards Ethan and he looks pissed. I look at him confused and then smile, walking up to him to whisper in his ear.
Violet; I'm all yours. There's nothing to worry about.
I say before heading out to his car as Ethan follows me before we get into his BMW.
