Chapter 1

The beginning of the a new.

In the near future, there have been many technology advances. One of which was able to

transfer a human mind into a video game. One of the games that could do it was

called "Dis-unity" which was about three main faction fighting over land and resources.

One of the three faction called "The Settlers" are the inhabitants of the planet that the game

takes place. Their main goal for taking land in the game is to protect their home and keep both

the "cult" and "space" faction in check. That faction resembles mostly fantasy vibe, having no

guns and they carry many medieval weapons and have magic at their disposal. Along with

human, they also have beastmen, elves, dwarfs, and all that other fantasy stereotypical in that

faction.

Another main faction names "The Keepers" are a bunch of cult-like people who worships a god

or goddess of their choosing. The reason they capture land is so that they can search the land

for relics of the gods and purge the world into their version of a "utopia". The faction may be the

weakest in terms of physical attacks however, they are an existence to fear in magical power

which their faction can only use. They have the same amount of race as the "The Nation" faction

but has different classes that are related to magic.

The final faction "Dawn Stars" are a faction who does not have any magic capability, yet they

have more utility than the other faction. Their main Goal for capturing land is that they can

harvest all the resources to repair their main ship to get back home. The faction can

only have one race, but they have an entirely different classes then their counterpart factions.

After many years, the game slowly began to die down until it was announced to be shut down.

After many efforts have been made by the community of the game, they have finally accepted that

the game was on its last leg. The story takes place in the game final hour where the three

supposedly best players are at. Some believe that they are the best while others believed that

they are players that got boosted. Whatever the case is they were known as the best.

Marcus POV

???: "Yo Marcus, is the reactor finish yet? The game is about to shut down."

???: "Yea hurry it up."

Marcus: "Zack, calm down and Lisa help me out, I just need to add a few more cooling cells and it should work."

Lisa: "Na, I feel like you got everything under control."

Damn wish they could just relax and help me out instead of yelling at me to hurry it up.

There were three people in the room. One of them that is building a machine is called Marcus. The one who is sitting on a crate and cleaning his weapon is called Zack. And the last person who is reading a book is called Lisa.

Marcus: Aaaaaand we are good to go.

Lisa& Zack: Finally!!!

Marcus: *Angry tone* Don't give me that bullshit, next time help me.
