Chapter 3

Eniola's POV
An 8 hour flight with 2 teenage babies that I call my younger brothers, sure is exhausting.
Before I go to Greece my Dad told me to help my brothers get settled in their school, then the private jet will be ready by the time I finish their new school year arrangements.
I honestly don't want to take over my Dad's company I want to give chase to my real dream, but we all know we don't always get what we want. Dad told me I was born to inherit his legacy, that my fate is inevitable so I better start being cooperative.
I love my family and I count my blessings everyday, but sometimes their actions makes me feel trapped and it's distressing.
I can't do the things I love for the sake of family.
As soon as I got on the private jet, I entered the bedroom to get some sleep, after getting informed by the pilot that it's only a 3 hrs 40 mins flight from London to the glorious city of Athens.
After safely landing, the chauffeur drove me through the city, even though this is my third time in Athens.
Every time I come here, I get so amazed by the celebrated significant statues and ancient archeological buildings that still stand proudly today.
After a long drive of cruising around Athens I finally arrived at my destination Royal Olympic Hotel.
Dad already booked everything for me, so all I just had to walk to the receptionist and tell her my name to get my key card to my room.
I will be staying in Athens for 3 months because this is going be my vacation after I seal this deal, Dad told me to stay for a few months because I deserved it for working so hard.
I hope I can make wonderful memories here, get a friend or hopefully find my life partner. But for now I'm going to get myself to sleep because I am torn down.
Felix's POV
The day before...
I entered the cafe to see my mother, and two familiar women. 'Ugh what is she scheming now?'
I walked up to them, my mom's back facing me up front I realized who the two women were, it was Vivian and her mother.
"Hello mother" Mom turns around and hugs me
"Good Afternoon Mrs.Forbes and Vivian" I acknowledged them
"So Mom what is the reason you called me?" My mom frowned because I immediately got to the point instead of beating around the bush.
I know why she wanted to meet up but it's not going to go the way she expected.
I looked over at Vivian giving her the signal that it's time.
"Mom Felix and I have something we want to tell you guys" Vivian spoke up getting both women's attention
"Yeah, what is it darling?" Mrs.Forbes urged her daughter to continue
"Felix and I get along" Vivian says
"Oh, honey that's great" My mom interrupted her.
"But the feelings are not mutual, we are meant to be friends instead of lovers" Vivian turns around to face her mother holding her hands
"Mom, I love Harry and I know you don't want me to marry him because he's from a low status family but I don't care for that. I love Harry, he proposed to me last month and I plan to marry him with or without you and Dad's blessings.
I know Dad said he will disown me if I go with Harry but I think that day is today. Mom I rather be with the Man I love than be in a loveless marriage" The unshed tears in Vivian's eyes looked like they would fall if she blinked.
Mrs.Forbes got up from her seat angrily "Rebecca it looks like you will have to excuse us" Mrs. Forbes tells my mother before she grabs Vivian wrist making her wince at the harsh grip.
After they left my mom looked at me
"Did you know about Vivian's Fiancé Felix?" Mom asks me with a questioning brow.
"Oh you mean Harry, then yes I even met the guy he's very good to Vivian and treats her like a gem. I support them" Mom looks down disappointedly
"Mom I hope this matchmaking arrangements ends now. It's frustrating, I know your intentions mean well but the way you're trying to help isn't the way I want it" Mom had a sullen look on her face so I hugged her patting her back.
"I'm sorry Felix I just wanted the best for you" She says in a shaky tone sniffing a little bit.
"It's fine Mom, my flight leaves in a few hours so I have to go" That seemed to get her attention immediately.
"Where are you going? She asked frantically holding onto my arm before I got up from the chair.
"Greece Mama, I need a vacation" I smiled at her slyly sending a wink at the baffled expression marred on her face.
"For how long? When will you be back" Mom asked in a whining tone shaking my arm.
"3 months I left Jonathan in charge of the company" She dropped her hands from my arm looking down at the glass cups filled with different drinks muttering 'Oh'.
Jonathan Reeves is my best friend and CCO of my company and he's the best person to rely on sometimes.
"It's ok Son, you need it because I can see and unfortunately smell all the stress radiating from you" Mom smiles sadly as she tried to joked about my body odor which I know is decent because I don't mess around with my personal hygiene.
"Bye Mom I'll call you every time I get the opportunity" I kiss her cheek giving her one final hug.
"I love you" Mom hugs me tighter and she lets go of me finally.
I walked out the cafe and drove to my home in upstate New York.
I got home to see Margarita my housekeeper cleaning.
"Good Afternoon Mr.Coleman" She greets me respectfully
"Good afternoon Margarita, how was your day" I greeted her back
"I finished packing up your luggages last night so your all set for your vacation Sir." She happily states
"Thank you Margarita you're the best.
But I'm not the only one getting a vacation, you're getting a paid vacation too so stop what you're doing I'll take care of the rest, go visit your Family" Margarita smile grew bigger and she dropped everything she was doing and hugged me.
Margarita is 20 years old and she's been working for me for 2 years now. She's a nice girl but I only see her as my little sister.
"Thank you so much Mr.Coleman, you're the best boss anyone could ever have" she pulled back from the hug I ruffle her hair and she glared at me before fixing her now messy hair
"Now I want you to shoo" I turned Margarita around grabbing her purse from the couch and leading her to the front door.
"Thank you Sir and I hope you find Love during your vacation" She tells me before I closed the door.
"I sure hope so too" I entered the kitchen to see my Lunch in the fridge.
