So near yet so far

The 24 SG US Tour team has landed to San Francisco International Airport. The producers with the rest of the production team who are all based in USA greeted Sarah and the rest of team.

'Hi, Sarah! Finally you are here. How was your flight? ' said Ms. Krizel Tingco, head producer of 24 SG US Tour and an avid fan of Sarah.

'Ms. Krizel. Hello po. It was a long flight but thank you po ng marami for bringing us all here' Sarah answered.

'We're very happy sinama mo ang USA sa leg ng concerts mo abroad. It is always a great honor to produce your concerts. Laging sold out and lagi kaming happy at excited ng mga kababayan dito. Anyway, let's go to your hotel para you guys can rest. Dun ka na rin i-brief nila Marco for your schedules.'

'Yes po. No problem po. Tara na po?'

SARAH POV

14 hours ang duration ng buong flight namin from Manila to San Francisco. Upon arrival namin, sinalubong na kami agad ng mga producers namin dito sa airport. May provided silang coster that will serve as our car service sa buong tour dito sa US.

Balik US na naman ako! Super excited ako. Kasi ang ganda ganda talaga dito at syempre pa ang sasarap ng mga pagkain!

But deep inside, I just wanted to go to our hotel and magcheck in at magpahinga. Sobrang kailangan ng katawan ko ang pahinga. The past few months had been so draining for me. Emotionally and physically. Super dami kong emotions na naramdaman over the past few months at sobrang pagod rin ang katawan ko because of tours. Katatapos ko lang din mag taping ng The Voice before kami lumipad papunta dito sa US. 4 leg ang concert ko dito ngayon. 4 states din. So ibig sabihin, concert then byahe. Lagare talaga. At pagbalik ko ng Pinas, 2 weeks lang and then pa Australia naman ako.

After checking in, nakapag nap lang ako I think ng 3 hours. We are on our way now at Nob Hill Cafe for our first Meet and Greet. Just as I walked down to the front, napansin ko that ako and si Sir Jon Santos lang ang nandito.

'Ms. Chai, sila Mateo and his team, hindi ko po nakikita, hindi po sila nasabihan?' Tanong ko sa handler ko

' Ay wala sila. Dumiretso si Mateo sa relatives nya dito. Sa San Diego pa sya magjoin satin' She answered.

Tumango na lang ako. Pero napaisip ako. Nawala talaga sila sa isip ko kanina. Marami na kasi kumausap sakin the moment we landed. Hindi ko na napansin si Mateo. Nakakahiya tuloy. Pagkatapos nya kong kwentuhan buong flight, parang binalewala ko na sya.

The presscon and meet and greet continued. And bukas, 1st leg na ng concert ko dito.

MATEO POV

Napaunat ako the moment I heard that we landed. Magkakasabay kami at buong concert team na bumaba ng eroplano. Pero ako nasa likod lang nila Sarah. Marami kasi syang entourage. Kasama nya mommy nya, make up team, stylist and handlers nya. Ako naman I have my own team rin pero syempre medyo may distance samin.

Super nakakatuwa yung kwentuhan namin kanina. Pero eto back to normal na kami ulit. We will be on our working shoes na.

Just as we got our baggages, sinalubong na agad kami ng mga sundo namin. Sobrang daming tao. For a country like this, obvious ng artista si Sarah sa dami ng sumundo sa kanya which is medyo unlikely sa mga ibang pasahero dito.

Well loved talaga si Sarah. Naririnig ko usapan nila ng mga producers at sobrang saya nila na andito na kami. Ay si Sarah pala.

'Hi Mateo. Will you be staying at your uncle's house for a while? May ilang days ka pa to rest. Medyo busy na days ahead natin lahat lalo na ng anak ko. Ihatid daw kayo ng driver nila Ms. Krizel' Mommy Divine said to me habang si Sarah busy na sa pagpapapicture sa mga sumalubong sa kanya.

'Yes Tita. Good luck po and will see you tomorrow.' I answered.

'Sa bahay na kayo didiretso? Mag ingat kayo ha. And see you.' Tita Divine said.

'Yes po. '

And just like that, nauna na ako umalis at ang team ko.

Sayang. Nasasayangan ako. Mas maganda sana kung mas maraming araw kami magkasama. Excited ako to rekindle and start a friendship with her. Grabe my heart is pounding.

Hindi na ko nakapagpaalam kay Sarah but I guess alam naman nya. Excited na ko and yet I'm nervous for next week's show.
