When Love Takes Over

Little by little

Almost 3 months have passed. Sarah and I have been very busy with our respective projects. Our communications stayed open. We exchanged bbm messages or called each other once in a while. Kinuha rin nila akong guest co-host from time to time sa Sarah G live. And yes, our friendship are back. Medyo nagiging open na rin kami ni Sarah when it comes to our friendship. Minsan pa nga, nababalita kami sa mga talkshows that we're dating. Haha!

It's just an ordinary day for me. Nagttraining ako to test my cycling capabilities when i received a call from Ate Grace informing me that VIVA wants to get me as a guest performer for Sarah's 24/SG tour in USA. And yes my team accepted it.

Few days after, I received a call from Sarah.

"Matt! Kamusta? :) ikaw pala makakasama ko ha. Looking forward to work with you ulit! See you sa meeting! :)"

I read her message late. Kaya late na rin ako nakapagreply. I was out kasi and had dinner with my team forza.

"Oo nga. I'm excited na. Working with you is always easy breezy. See you soon. Meeting na next week."

Week passed and our scheduled meeting with the whole production team came.

It was a fun and exhausting meeting. I will be included in most leg of the shows. May sing and dance number rin kami ni Sarah. On the next few days we will be rehearsing the songs that we're singing.

"And that's a wrap!!! Thank you everyone. Nice ideas ha and looking forward to a great collaboration with everyone!" Direk Louie Ocampo said marking that the meeting has finished.

"Thank you Direk. Good job everyone!"- Boss Vic of Viva exclaimed.

"Thank you po. Thank you po." I heard Sarah's voice. Nagtthank you siya to everyone thats in the production team. And nagssmile talaga siya sa lahat.

I also heard my manager and handler saying their thank you. And ako rin naman i said thank you and offered my hand to shake their hands.

"Let's have team dinner tonight! Pwede kayo? Tutal maaga naman natapos ung meeting natin. What do you think Direk?" Boss Vic said.

"Okay lang sa akin. Wala namang problema. Maganda na rin yan para pre- productions bonding! Masaya yan!!!" Direk Louie said na sinang-ayunan naman ng halos lahat ng tao na part ng team.

My manager also said na join kami. Until, I noticed na medyo umiiling si Sarah kay Boss Vic and it looks like she's turning down the invitation for dinner.

"Opo. Inaantay rin po ako nila Mommy sa bahay" i heard her say to Boss Vic. Kanina kasi kasama namin si Mommy Divine sa meeting pero umalis din in the middle of the meeting dahil may natanggap na tawag na kailangan siya para sa restaurant nila.

"Eh, saglit lang naman yun Sars. Saka ikaw dapat ang kasama. Concert mo to eh." Boss Vic replied to Sarah.

"Boss naman. Alam mo naman si Mommy. Hindi yun papayag na majoin ako sa ganitong dinner. Baka kasi may inuman. Saka gabi pa po. Baka mapagalitan ako paguwi." Pagdadahilan ni Sarah. And obviously natatakot nga siyang baka mapagalitan ng Mommy niya dahil hindi naman planado yung team dinner namin.

I saw Direk Louie and Boss Vic and Tita Nenette na umiiling na sila. It looks like papayagan nila si Sarah na umuwi na lang at wag nang mag-join sa dinner.

And Teacher Georcelle of G Force butted in. "Ikaw talaga Sars! Puro ka dahilan. Ikaw ang bida dito kaya dapat kasama ka. Ipagpapaalam ka na lang ni Boss Vic kay Mommy D". She said as she signaled to Boss Vic to make a call to Mommy D.

Boss Vic made a call and it looked like everything went well. Sarah and her team joined us finally! We had dinner at one of the private rooms in Elbow Lounge in Ortigas.

After dinner everyone opted for a videoke. Halos kumanta lahat except kay Sarah dahil nirereserve na niya yung boses nya para sa upcoming rehearsals ng tour niya.

In the middle of a fun feast, nagkakabiruan na kami lahat and it seems like everyone is getting closer and closer. The night was fun. And it feels like having a new family.

The night ended and everyone opted to go home na. I would like to offer myself sana na ihatid sila Sarah sa bahay nila pero they have their driver with them.

We said goodbye to everyone at sakto namang magpapaalam na ko kay Sarah ng makita ko siya papalapit na rin sakin.

"Matt. Uwi na kami ha. May driver kang kasama?"

"Yup. Oo uuwi na rin kami. Ingat kayo ha."

"Oo. Kayo rin. Ingat kayo. Bye."

"Bye Sarah. Bye Ate Anna"

Just as i thought na tatalikod na sila. Sarah immediately walked towards me and talked in her very soft voice.

"Thanks Matt ha. Thank you for accepting this project again. I'm looking forward spending the tour with you as a part of it. And sobra akong nagenjoy ngayong gabi. Sana ikaw din. Please text me when you get home. Medyo malayo pa byahe nyo pa-Alabang eh."

" Oo naman. I'm beyond excited. And I really can't wait. Please take extra care too. Pahinga ka na rin pagdating."

"Okay. Bye na talaga. Hahaha"

Sobra akong napagod today. Pero worth it naman. Sobrang enjoy kasama yung team na makakasama ko sa tour ko. Sarah said to herself while lying on her bed.

Naisip ko bigla si Matteo. Nasa byahe pa rin siguro sila pauwi. I'm so happy kasi I still have a friend in him. Nakakatuwa talaga siya dahil sobrang bait niya sa akin at sa mga ibang staffs. I know magiging successful yung mga shows namin.
