-Justin-
I sighed heavily walking into my home. I just wanted to see the my children, they'll make the stress go away for sure, they always do.
My mood turned even more sour as my wife came to greet me with a forced smile.
Sophie and I's marriage has been rocky for the last couple of years, we fight so much now the kids start to worry.
"Hey where's the kids" I strained out loosing my tie from around my neck.
"They're with Lola, she's reading them a story before bed" She sighed out, not meeting my gaze. My heart nearly jumped out of my chest when she told me that.
I loved when Lola interacted with my children, she treats them as if they were hers.
My heart swelled at the thought of her with a swollen belly, her womb nurturing our beautiful pup; giving me a sweet innocent smile as I came home for work.
"Where are t-" I was cut off by the sound of distant giggles. I went towards the direction.
I reached the kids study room, the door was wide open. I leaned my shoulder against the doorway loving the sight before me.
My children were snuggled into Lola in their pajamas as she read to them, The Ugly Duckling.
Even though two of them were almost teens and could perfectly read on their own. They still loved letting Lola read to them.
They all had smiles on their faces and my heart warmed knowing Lola made my children smile.
I could stare at this sight forever but all good things come to an end as they all noticed me in the doorway.
"Dad!!"
"M-Master?!"
My children came barreling towards me and almost knock me off my feet at the force of them hugging my waist.
"Im home guys" I said softly , they grinned up at me.
"I missed you" My little girl pouted. I chuckled then kissed her head.
"I've missed you too, All of you" I hinted staring at Lola and she gave me an innocent look and a head tilt.
"Daddy you ruined story time" Hadrien pouted. I chuckled.
"Again" Xavier added crossing his arms.
"Im sorry buddy" I apologized ruffling his hair.
"M-Master, do you wish to listen too?" Lola asked timidly.
I shivered slightly at her innocent voice.
"Oh Dad please" My children begged giving me the puppy eyes, I look at Lola and saw she was giving me her usual warm innocent eyes.
I caved immediately. "Okay" I sighed out. They cheered quietly and pulled me down to sit infront of Lola as they cuddled into her, staring at the book.
I was slightly jealous of my children as they got to snuggle with her. She smiled softly down at them and began to read.
I couldn't help but watch in amazement, at how good she were with my children. She was a natural.
She has grown so much physically and mentally over the 5 years she has been with us. When we found her she was barely 17 in 2014, Sophie and I wanted to take a small night stroll in the park. Then I had caught the scent of dirt, blood and hint of rain. Then we found Lola's unconscious bruised bloody body on the bench.
She had shackles around her neck, wrists and her ankles. Her toes were broken, ankle was sprained, her wrsit was broken , her shoulder was popped out of place, the bottom of her feet were cut and swollen.
It was an interesting case for the officers. We have no idea where she came from or who she was. Hell she didn't even know who she was, she only told us her first name.
Lola was a scared girl at the time, She would cower and whimper when someone came near her. She used to talk in third person in fear.
"Lola is sorry, It won't happen again" or "Please don't hurt Lola".
It angered me that someone hurt this precious girl. She had this scar of a butterfly on the center of her back, taking up the center of her back, Almost like it was carved.
Sophie and I were devastated at her actions and we offered to take her in. Everyone was wary of me taking in a girl that appear out of nowhere, but I damn sure wasn't going to leave her.
Since she was my mate.
After we took her in, she became like a little maid, serving our every need. Of course we told her she didn't have to do it but she insisted, "L-Lola wishes to serve her Master and Mistress because they took Lola in".
We were slightly disturbed at her calling us, Master and Mistress, it was as if she was used to calling someone that. Sophie tired to sit down and talk about it with her but Lola closed herself off.
She took good care of us, especially Sophie since she was pregnant with Hadrien at the time. She cooked, clean, help with the kids and gardened.
We tried to pay her but she wouldn't take it, so Sophie and I made this account just for her where all the money she earned was in.
She was very close to the kids, especially Hadrien. She cared for Hadrien when Sophie was too tired or was in pain, or when I was too busy or tired.
I watched as she read to my children, they looked at her in amazement. I noticed them starting to fall alseep. Lola noticed and giggled quietly then she gently shut the book.
"They really love story time, Master" She commented placing the book of the table.
"Yeah they sure do" I muttered staring at her beautiful face. I picked up Ella-Grace, we had to wake up Xavier then she picked up Hadrien. We walked to the boys room, She hummed a beautiful tune on the way also rocking a little.
The door to the boys room opened and out came Sophie. Lola smile shyly at her and Sophie gave a strained smile.
"I-Im sorry for keeping them, Mistress" Lola apologize. Sophie waved it off.
"Nonsense Lola, Im glad they went to sleep with smiles on their faces" Sofie comment. We looked at them and saw they had smiles on their faces.
Lola giggled, Sofie took Hadrien from Lola arms and I gave Lola Ella-Grace to palce her in her bedroom. She bidded us a goodnight with a soft smile. I watched her figure disappear into Ella's room and I felt cold and empty without her by my side.
Little did I know Sophie frowned deeply disliking the way I was looking at Lola.
