invisibility

sometimes the only thing
that i want is to just drift
away and be invisible as
people make me seem

because it seems to me
like nobody notices
the lonely people
sat in the corner

because everyone is too
busy with their own life
to notice mine.

so one of my poems won a school thing and my teacher was like 'yeah nothings too sad, rylee wrote about someone dying blah blah blah' and i was just sitting there like 'hahayeah i wrote that about someone who lives an ocean away but that's cool'
