jealousy

i am not quite sure
if you realize how
unbelievably jealous
i become when her
name leaves your lips.

i am not quite sure
if you know how
unbelievably important
you are to my life.

i am not quite sure
if you can comprehend
how in love i can be
with you one minute
and despise you the next.

even i cannot begin
to fathom why i
act like this when
i know how you
feel about me, and
i know it's not the
same feeling reciprocated.
