Him

Past the door was nothing but pitch black. The pitch black was soon interrupted by an old light flickering on, revealing a strange figure.

His skin was a grey, not peach, brown, or anything in between, it was grey. His eyes looked glazed over, and was a darker grey that looked murky. He had no pupil, or iris, just one solid color. He towered of me at what looked to be 7 feet tall. He had no arms, and where shoulders would be, was smooth. His whole body looked smooth, he had no nose, or hair, and the only indent in his body was his mouth.

His mouth didn't follow a curve, but was an uneven swirl that went from ear to ear, or at least where his ears should be. The mouth was twisted into a smile that would break even the most stubborn man within seconds.

Added all up, it became a monster, that was a conglomeration of the nightmares of every child in the world, and it was right in front of me.

The light that hid this creature from me before, flickered out, but this time the light in the room I was in followed suit. In the dark, I heard the door close.

After a few seconds, the light flickered back on, and there was a pair of legs in front of the bed I was under.

The light flickers back off, then on.

It was now kneeling, in front of me.

I held my breath.

The light flickers off, and I hear the door open.

The light flickers back on, and I see the door open.

I slowly get out from under the bed, and begin to walk to the door.

The light flickers off, and I hear a laugh that was filled with joy, but one filled with joy for the wrong reason. I stand completely still, but to no avail as I feel something sharp being driven into my chest.

The light flickers back on, as my vision flickers off.
