||Very short (780 words)  little adventure with Tsu'tey. Just a filler chapter really, but it gives a little bit more Kita X Tsu'tey in the Story. Also, what's a good ship name for them? ||

After a long session with Mo'at that ended right after dinner, I was exhausted. She taught me how to heal, how to mix pastes, and what each flower or leaf can do to help the Na'vi as a whole. She didn't let me leave until I was able to spot the leaf or flower, and tell her what it could be used for. Needless to say, there will be a test tomorrow.

For the time being, I was sitting on a branch looking down at the scene below me. A couple of elder warriors were telling stories to the kids about Toruk, the fire's light bouncing around them, making the story that much more terrifying.

A laugh escapes as I watch one kid jump three feet in the air after a bug landed on his tail.

"Are you enjoying yourself?" A voice sounds, making me jump a little.

I turn around to find Tsu'tey behind me, his face as stoney as ever. "I was, but since someone decided to scare me, I now find myself bored."

He holds his hand out to me, "Come, I want to show you something."

Slightly shocked at his action, I take his hand and let him pull me up. He leads me up the twisting stairs, all the way to the top of the tree. "Tsu'tey, where are we going?" I ask, wondering if he was going to throw me out of the tree.

"You'll see."

After what feels like forever, we finally reach the very top, only to find nothing there but a fantastic view. I look out past the branch, my eyes taking in everything around. Not even the helicopter could beat this view. "Thank you for bringing me up here. It's beautiful."

A strange sound comes from him as I turn around, only to find that he was chuckling. "This is not why I brought you up here. Watch. " Confused, I wait for him to do something. He yelps a few times, and a rustling begins in the leaves of the tree.

Suddenly, a large Ikran comes flying towards him. I instantly duck my head, knowing from Grace's books to not look one in the eye. I quickly glance at the coloring on the wings, and smile. The black, Blue, and purple hues blend together to make a galaxy theme. I look over at Tsu'tey, silently asking permission to touch his Ikran.

"Go on. Maktos is kind, he will not hurt you unless I tell him to." A grin spreads across my face as I lift my eyes to rake over the entire creature. My hands rest on the beak as I gently coo to him.

"He's handsome..." Just like his rider. I force myself to not think those thoughts so I wouldn't blush.

"Would you like to ride him?" I spin around to gawk at Tsu'tey.

"Really?"

"Yes." Tsu'tey hops on and makes the bond, then lowers and hand for me to grab on to. I easily grasp his hand and hoist myself up, settling down behind Tsu'tey, wrapping my arms around his stomach. "Hold on tight. Just don't close your eyes."

I do as he says, forcing my eyes to stay open as Maktos jumps off the branch and begins to free fall before opening his wings and soaring over the treetops. I'm in awe over what I see. It's the perfect time to do this, as the bioluminesce starts to light up the planet. I glance at Tsu'tey's back and see the patterns on his chest begin to glow as well.

As we fly through the night, I can't help but wish that there will be more nights like this with Tsu'tey. He's gentler at night, and not as stoic. With a sigh, I rest my head across his back, my eyes taking everything in. "This is amazing." I vaguely hear him respond, but my eyes were already closing as I drifted off to sleep, only to wake up to darkness in the link pod.

The lid opens, and I slowly sit up as I try not to fall asleep.

"Had a fun day?" Grace asks me, her hands helping me through the hall to my bed.

"Tsu'tey led me to places, Mo'At taught me herbs and healing-" I'm cut off by a large yawn, "-and Tsu'tey let me go on a ride with him on Maktos." My knees hit my bed and I fall forward, not even caring about anything except sleep.

"He let you on his Ikran? How long did you ride for?" She asked, a blanket falling over me.

"Dunno... Fell sleep..."

A laugh, "See you in the morning Kita."
