CHAPTER SIX: WHAT IS LOVE?

Everyone in the mansion gathered around, they're all waiting for Jaehyun who's acting weird these past few days. The high ranking officers are there as well to talk about Jaehyun's condition. As the leader of their pack he has to be strong and brave to face any consequences.

 Soon, a foot steps can be heard echoing the place, some of them turned their heads to see the leader, Jaehyun walking towards them. As the leader already settled himself at the center, the maids serves them the special drink that they all enjoy.

"As you can see the full moon is coming" A young fine lady said making Jaehyun turned his gaze on him. He gave the young lady a nod, telling her to continue what she's about to say.

"You still haven't found the person who arouse you— the person you'll own" She spoke, a smirk playing on her lips. "So, you're going to be wild and dangerous when the full moon comes since you're still craving for one specific scent and blood"

That things worried Jaehyun, he's known as the kindest and leader who has a good relationship with his people. One more thing that worries him is that he came from a royal clan yet he acts coward, he bring shame to his family clan and for sure his parents wouldn't like to hear that news. Everyone looks up to him, he's strong but coward that's why there are many wanna be are waiting for him to step down, waiting for his fall. He sighed, thinking if he should tell he found the person he's looking for. Being owned by the most powerful vampire is not easy, you will be in danger that's why he's keeping him. He don't want him to get trouble.

"Don't go out—"

"I found him but I won't be telling to all of you who is, I want to protect him from my enemies" He can clearly see that the kid, Chenle is smiling and looking at him proudly. That's what Jaheyun wants, to open their mind doing good things and act like a human.

"You're still not able to go out, no one can control you" No one can control me unless it's him.

"You can enjoy eating, I'll be at the balcony" Jaehyun's mood suddenly dropped. He excused himself from his guest and let his people to entertain the others while he went upstairs and go directly to the balcony where he can see the whole forest and sea on the other side. He leaned his hands on the railings and sighed, inside his mind two sides are debating whether to be selfish or protect Taeyong. He can't just grab the kid and suck his blood.

No no no—

"I know it bothers you a lot, Jae" a soft voice from his back, few inches away from him spoke up. He can feel that he's coming so the leader just shook his head and heaved another heavy sigh.

"No need to worry about Taeyong, I know him" Jaehyun looked at Jungwoo who's giving him an assuring smile.

"What do you mean?" Jaehyun asked.

"He's alway curious about you, can't you read his mind?" Jungwoo chuckled at the fact that Jaehyun was also distracted too, he didn't notice it. Jungwoo is a quiet guy who only observe and disappear. He has the softest voice, he never yelled or scream, his eyes are beautiful but he's powerful although he might seem weak for others. Ever since Taeyong attended their class, he always watch and observe the younger male without getting notice with the help of his boyfriend, Lucas.

"You've been so out of you mind lately"

"I'm sorry about that, I feel irresponsible leader" sad tone can be discerned on his voice. Both of them can comprehend if this thoughts of Jaehyun for himself is a good sign, if Taeyong is good for Jaehyun as the leader.

"Cheer up, Jae. I'll help you to make it before the full moon comes" The older male smiled a bit and stretched his arm to reach the younger male's head to mess his hair.

"That's my boy"

"I'm not a dog?!"

Jaehyun is on his way to his office. As usual day, many students coming to his special class and mostly of them are girls but therefore their performance isn't bad after all even though the 75% of the reason why they attend the class was the professor's godly visual. He's a bit strict but of course he still pull out silly jokes for class to be light up from serious topic and relationship of literature. His famous neat uniform and brushed up hair and milky white skin and red lips are enough to make his students go crazy for him but that's not important for him, he already have someone that is only for him. He reached the door of his office, he turned the knob and pushed it and to be surprise, Lee Taeyong was sitting on the couch comfortably while Jungwoo is busy looking for a book to read on Jaehyun's shelf. He always lose his shit when he saw Taeyong, the sweet scent of the human brushed the tip of his nose— his pupil changed from black to violet, he didn't notice but Taeyong did. It amazes the younger, he wanted to run toward that professor and stare at his eyes, how beautiful it is as it changes color while Jungwoo is slowly claiming his victory inside his head.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jaehyun said as he managed to act normal despite of new feelings running on his nerves as he walked to his table and he put down his things on side of his table then he took a sit on his swivel chair.

Why don't you take the chance, Mr. Jung? Jungwoo said through his mind, they're both communicating using their eyes and mind. A smirk playing on the innocent man's lips as he's trying to tease their professor more.

The heck! You know it's not that easy Jungwoo I'm telling you. He warned the male but the latter just shrugged it off. Jaehyun is slowly loosing all his braincells talking to Jungwoo. But he also thought of it, the kid was helping him and he should be grateful and also he shouldn't let go of the chance or it will be a shame again to his pack.

Jaehyun cleared his throat as he fixes his table. "Is there something troubling you, Taeyong?" The student shook his head but to be honest, there is. He just don't want to bother their professor who's nothing but been kind to him and his friends especially to Jungwoo.

"Your eyes tells otherwise, better luck next time" the professor said as he tries to lighten up the mood between them "You can lie to others but not to me" Jaehyun finished fixing and finally sitting 2 feet apart from Taeyong.

"It just we've been assign from one of our subject, it's equivalent to thesis" Taeyong hates doing long and thick ass thesis that's why mostly his brothers are the one who types and also help him to finish it. "We picked different questions and I got "What is love?" and it's so hard, can you feel it Professor?" Taeyong dramatically said as he closed the book he's "reading" then faced his professor with a pouty lips.

Holy fuck?

"Till when is that?"

"Semester end" Quite long but I don't think I can help.

Yes you can help Jae, your heart doesn't even beat.

And we that he shoot a glare to Jungwoo who only gave him a giggle.
