Turn around.
Stop.
Breathe in,
Breathe out.
Stop.
Listen to the flowers again, try to get through the barrier.
Don't lose him.
His laugh echoes through the brush, the sky is the colour of lavender.
"Where did you go?" A voice asks with a soft giggle.
"I'm lost." I say, though that's the easy answer.
I'm gone.
Soon, the world will fall apart again.
I'll lose him again.
The lovely scent of him fills my body, it's entoxicating to say the least.
Though, I know what this means.
The brush of cat-tails and the lavender stalk begin to fall apart and fly away into the crackling sky.
I'm waking up.
Step by step I move backward, watching as the world falls apart.
"D-Don't leave me." The little lavender boy cries.
"I'll be back tomorrow." I whisper before letting myself fall backward into the sea of stars.
"Promise?" Lavender asks from the dream realm, his voice echoing in my head.
"I promise."
