My father had taken the men who were meant to guard me tonight for their duties before he had kissed me goodbye and wished me luck for the night. My mother had went out with her friends out of town so it was going to be only me in the entire house. As I unpacked my bag, I glanced down at my engagement ring and smiled, liking the way it glittered in the light.

My father had arranged a shoot at one of the studios he owned and to my surprise, I had my own dressing room. A makeup artist was now touching my face, working her magic whilst another did my hair.

"That ring is absolutely stunning," the makeup artist complimented with a smile. I couldn't help but smile. "How did he propose?"

I gulped and I knew I had to do one thing. That was to lie. "Well, we went to Greece and had dinner on our balcony. We had the most amazing view of the houses and the endless sea and it was very private and intimate. He got down on one knee and proposed." I had described my dream proposal.

Both the makeup artist and hairstylist squealed in delight and stared in awe at me through the mirror and I faked the biggest smile I could muster. Biting my lip, I pushed down the disappointment that now, I was never going to have my dream proposal.

"He's really handsome," the hairstylist said with suggestive eyebrows. "You're a very lucky woman."

I nodded. "Yes, yes I am." I barely even knew Noah.

They quickly helped me slip into a red, silk material romper with a sweetheart neckline. My hair had been straightened and tied into a low ponytail, sleek to the max and the makeup had been light but edgy. I slipped into a pair of black stilettos and walked out of my dressing room, my jaw almost dropping when I found Noah leaning against the wall with a sleek black suit with a red bow tie. His hair was half dishevelled and half gelled which made him look even sexier than most of the times.

"Stop staring," he said as he looked up from his phone and I watched his eyes slightly widen at the sight of my figure.

"Stop staring," I mimicked him before strutting towards the white background where the photographers were finishing from setting up for the shoot.

"Okay, Astoria, Noah," the photographer acknowledged as Noah and I came to stand side by side. "I need you both to look in love."

I raised a brow and huff before placing my arms around Noah's neck as his slid around my waist, pulling me close to him. I yelped, causing his lips to smirk as his forehead met mine. I have never been this close to Noah and it slightly frightened me.

"Fantastic!" the photographer yelled as I heard the clicks go off and the lights flashing. "Now, Astoria, I'm going to need you to place your left hand on his bicep so we can see that gorgeous ring."

I did as I was told and I couldn't help but squeeze his bicep, surprised to find all muscles. I chuckled to myself, earning a small smile from Noah who scoffed. "What? Never felt a bicep before?"

I rolled my eyes. "I've felt plenty."

"Okay, lovebirds, I'm going to need Noah to hug her from behind and Astoria, show off that ring as much as you can."

I nodded as Noah came from behind and wrapped his arms around my waist, increasing my heart beat. I bit my lip and placed my left hand on his forearm, the ring facing directly to the photographer who kissed his fingers in the air.

"Smile, Astoria," the photographer called.

I cleared my throat and allowed myself to smile with my eyes close as I felt Noah's warm, minty breath on the side of my face. I felt myself flush, the warm feeling in my stomach bursting in flames.
