Five times.

Five fucking times.

It was the embarrassment yet satisfaction that settled in the pits of my stomach when I had woken up, Noah still asleep by my side. I couldn't help but had then showered and got ready for work quietly, hoping I hadn't woke him up. I had rushed out the door, passing Javier who eyed me suspiciously before waving me off with a knowing smile.

I had then quickly rushed inside the office, smiling at my co-workers who complimented on the glow I had. I had replied with a "it's a new skincare routine I've been working on" before continuing on, blushing furiously because we all knew what kind of glow it was. I had cleared my throat and thanked my assistant when he had handed me a cup of coffee, reminding me that I had a meeting with one of the major company's shareholder in a couple of hours. I was supposed to prepare for that meeting last night after dinner at the Bellucci's but another event had occurred.

As a scene repeated in my head from last night, I couldn't help but crossed my legs and squeezed my thighs together, a blush running across my cheeks. My elbow slipped from the edge of the table as I inhaled a sharp breath before sipping on the coffee.

How was I going to face Noah now?

A knock sounded from the door, making me jump in my seat as I cleared my throat and licked my dry lips before making myself seem presentable. The doors opened and my assistant walked in with an iPad in his hands as he glanced up at me with a kind smile.

"You have a meeting with Mr. Bellucci, your fiancée, right after your meeting with Mr. Harrington," my assistant said as he swiped a finger on the iPad.

I frowned. "I didn't know I had a meeting with Noah today."

The assistant blinked at me. "He just called, saying something about the merge."

I nodded once, slightly confused. "Okay."

"Nice glow, by the way," my assistant complimented, his eyes running over my face with a knowing smile. "I recognise that glow because it's the same glow my girlfriend has every time she-"

"Get out!" I shouted at him with a furious blush as my assistant chuckled and nodded before leaving my office, closing the doors behind him.

My phone began to ring as I let out a sigh before rummaging through my pockets for the device. I frowned when I noticed it was Karlo calling seeing as we had all discussed that Karlo wasn't supposed to ring me if I was ever in the office.

"Yes?" I spoke into the phone, settling in my chair once again before spinning it around, facing the skyline view.

"We have a problem," Karlo said through pants as he yelled in Italian in the background. "One of the guys had been following Francisco for safety purposes and when he hadn't come home, we got worried so we searched."

My eyes slightly widened at the thought of my brother getting hurt as my heart slightly picked up the pace. "Is he hurt?"

Karlo coughed. "Fran isn't hurt but one of our men got shot and stabbed five times. That's not normal, Astoria."

I breathed a sigh of relief and rubbed my temples. "They must still be following Fran. I want you to warn my parents that Fran is on the hit-list then I'll see you at their house around six."

"What do you want me to do with the body?"

I bit my lip, one more fallen soldier. "Bury him then send me the details of his family. I'm going to visit them and give them the news."

Karlo was silent on the other line as he contemplated on what I had just said. "Are you sure you want to do it?"

"What do you mean?"
