Chapter Nine

Brian's POV:

It's been weeks since Sebastian's birthday. I didn't talk to him after that. My behaviour was cold towards him. He tried, tried hard to talk to me for a few weeks. But when I still behaved cold, he gave up. We were two strangers living in this apartment. We are worst than roommates. We stopped greeting each other. We don't even talk if it is not too much necessary. We started to ignore each other as if the other doesn't exist.

Today started as a normal day. I got up, had my breakfast on my room then went to University. This place is a great escape from reality. I'm glad for that. My class was almost finished when I got a text from Maddy. She invited me for stay over.  After so many days, a smile made it's way on my face. My heart felt like someone had poured cold water in a burning wound. Family calls.

I called Eric to check if he has already gone or not. But that excuse of a best friend didn't even received my calls. Cursing him for 15 minutes, I got into my car.

I found Eric's car in Maddy's porch and mentally planned how I'm gonna strangle Eric. As usual I didn't knock and made my way towards the living room. I could hear people laughing and talking. I smiled thinking about how much I've missed them. Actually it's the first time after my marriage I'm meeting them.

"Yo!" I jumped inside the living room , making my entry grand.

"Bri-Bri!" everyone cheered. Then I felt I was lifted from the ground and twirled.

"Danny stop!" I laughed. Danny put me on the floor and I turned him.

"My baby!" I said happily and hugged him tightly. Danny pulled me into a bone crushing hug. Then I felt a tug on my pants. We broke the hug and I looked down, finding a very pouting Lily looking at me

"Hi baby!" I cooed and crouched down.

"Bi-Bi....Lily....baby...Wove!......Lily baby.... No No Daggy!" Lily shook her head and my eyes got wide.

"Awh baby! You are offended? Okay you are my baby. Danny shoo!" I waved off Danny and pulled Lily into a hug. She warped her tiny arms around my neck.

"Lily wiss Bi-Bi." Lily mumbled. My eyes went teary.

"I missed you too." I kissed her head. Lily pulled back a nd smiled brightly at me.

"Mama.. Dada.... Eggy.. Beb!" Lily pointed at other. I stood up.

Maddy and Johnny was sitting on the couch. Eric was sitting on the floor, leaning his head on the sofa. Then my eyes landed on the person who was sitting on the love seat. Sebastian.

"What is he doing here?" without realising, I said it out loud. Rather rudely.

"I invited him." Maddy said as she hugged me.

"I thought it's a family stay over!" I whispererd.

"He is family." Maddy said loudly. I sighed and walked to Johnny.

"Hey Johnny Bravo!" we punched our fist and hugged.

"Sir Brian of tarth!" Johnny bear hugged me.

"Missed you." Johnny smiled sadly.

"Me too." I smiled. Then rolled my eyes at Eric. He gave me a 'what' look. Again I rolled my eyes at him and walked back to stand e beside Danny.

"What happened to you two?" Danny chuckled.

"Well, some people are so damn busy that, they don't have the time to pick up calls." I crossed my arms and glared at Eric.

"You have your husband, Woman! You don't need me on everything now!" Eric snapped. My eyes got wide. He did not just say that! I furiously stormed towards him and punched him. Eric wailed in pain.
