Diving deep into uncharted mystery
She swirled to the music wistfully
She knew a storm was coming
She could taste it on the breeze
Yet she never stopped the plummeting
Of emotional catastrophes

She wanted to fit like a puzzle
In the midst of every world trouble
At the same time she wanted to stick out
In song keys so unique, she would re-route

Feeling her way through the dark
It's hard to stop the tears down her face
But a smile so dainty larks
In the back of her brain like lace
Her smile has no particular meaning
Maybe it just foreshadows
The inevitable being
Of mildly insane hassles
That never cease teeming

So we never stop breathing
