Jacob threw his stuff on the couch and sighed in relief. The day is over... or at least half of his day. He still had to get things ready for Tony 's birthday party.

Jacob: mom where's the stuff at?

Mama Perez: in the trunk. The silver car... make it quick. I gotta go pick up Tony from the after school program

Jacob: okay. Mama is it alright if Rayan helps decorate?

Rayan:may I mama Perez?

Mama Perez: I don't care. As long as the backyard is decorated.

Jacob and Rayan: yay

Mama Perez: okay and here's the lost of things I need you to get at the store. I think you all should get this list done first.

Jacob: okay Mami

Mama Perez: okay see you all in an hour

Jacob: later mami

Rayan: catcha in a few mama Perez

Jacob and Rayan looked at each other and seemed as if they had read each other's mind.

Jacob and Rayan: DECORATING!!!!!

Rayan: aye great minds think alike

Jacob: lol right. Last one to the car has to set up the tables and chairs

The boys darted out of the house and raced to the silver prius. And they were surprised to see that they both mad wit to the car at the same time

Jacob and Rayan:..... not it...stop copying... me??? You're copying me

Jacob: okay we both are goin to set up the tables.

Rayan: I guess that's fair

Jacob: okay. You take this half of the things and I'll take this half

Rayan: Kay then

Jacob and Rayan took the party supplies to the backyard and sat them on the patio. They started with the tables and chairs. After 8 tables and 64 chairs, Jacob was happy to do his favorite part: the streamers and balloons.

Jacob: aye Rayan pass the balloons

Rayan tossed the balloons to Jacob and Jacob walked to the helium container. He watched a red balloon fill up and he knotted it, tied some string to it, and handed it to Rayan who was placing them on the covered tables. Rayan lost grip of the balloon.

Rayan: oh shit

Jacob: dammit Rayan. Why you let go of the balloon?

Rayan: it wasn't my fault

Jacob: haha bro can't even hold onto a balloon now that truly is sad. Here. Just set the string under this rock.

Rayan: sure thing

Jacob: aye Ray

Rayan: what up

Jacob: Bahja be like (sucks in helium) I don't need a man. I'm a strong woman

Rayan:hahaha yet ten minutes later she get back with Chresanto

Jacob: right

The two put the finishing touches on the backyard, they looked in astonishment for they felt it looked like how the party supply would have decorated.

Rayan: okay Mr.Perez where to next?

Jacob: well Mr.Lopez we go to the market to get what's on this here list

Rayan: alright then. To the market we'll go

Just then a suspicious noise came from the gate on the other side of the backyard, followed by rustling in the bushes Mama Perez planted a few years back. It had gotten so big to where someone can sit on the ground behind it and not be seen.
