Chapter 2

Off course Maya will be staying with Riley in her room til they figured out where they are going to stay.
Riley loved it but Maya was almost too preoccupied to realize it.

"Are you okay?" Riley asks and Maya turns her head.
"You haven't said much since we got here."
I just smiled at her theory.
How could I not?
"I... Yeah I am. Sorry my mind is at a billion other places. So NYU?"
"Yeah. Both me and Lucas got in and knew it was perfect," Riley said.
Lucas Friar.
A guy Riley liked for a very long time and apparently still does.
"So when is the wedding? You are clearly so in love," Maya said smiling.
Riley threw a pillow at Maya and laughs.
"Haha very funny. We actually are very cute together. So about Josh..."
"Much later Sweetie. I wanna get settled in and then I wanna go for a walk," Maya said.
"Maya you will freeze to death. I'm coming with," Riley said.
"Girls. Why don't you come down for some coffee?" Cory asked.
"We will be right down Dad," Riley said and they both went down.

"Here you go. So Shawn. What are your plans with the future?" Cory asked.
"Well I still have my job so we need to get Katy one..."
"She can have her job back at the bakery," Topanga interrupted Shawn.
"Perfect. You still remember that Baby Girl?" Katy asked.
"I do," Maya said.
"Next?" Cory asked.
"Maya does singing for a career so that's easy. Next will be a apartment."
"That is a good start," Topanga said.
"How's Ava?" Maya asked Auggie as soon as he sat down next to her.
"Really good. She is coming over for Christmas," Auggie said.

Ava Morgenstern.
Auggie's girlfriend/wife but Maya never though of it as weird.

"Okay. I'm done. Can I go for a walk? I need some fresh air," Maya said.
"Sure. Riley."
"Yes I'm going too. See ya," Riley said and they both head out the door.

"Must be warmer in Paris," Riley said after they walked to a park.
"Just a little," Maya said and went over to the bench.
Immediately Riley saw someone.
"Josh. What a nice surprise," Riley said.
"Hey. What are you doing out here all by yourself?" Josh asks.

Why am I surprised to see him here?
I knew I would bump into him.
Just not so soon.
Maybe Riley doesn't say anything.

"I'm not alone. Don't you know about Maya?" Riley asked.
"No what about Maya?" Josh asked surprised.
He saw Riley was looking at a bench and decided to see what it was.
Josh and Maya's eyes met and both seemed pretty surprised.
Josh couldn't believe his eyes.
The girl he admitted his feelings to just three years ago is back.
But why?
Isn't everything okay in Paris?
