It's been a few weeks since Maya and Riley were out on the town.
Maya decided they weren't going to do that soon.
Riley has recovered from her drunk episode and Maya has relaxed a little.
The past few weeks has been quite hectic and now she is calmer.
It is Christmas Eve and Maya has no idea how much longer she can keep up with her lie.
She feels bad but doesn't want people knowing the truth.

"You are never going to that place again if you do that," Cory said.

Of course Riley has been going out a lot and arriving drunk at home.
Which her father wasn't impressed with but had to keep quiet about.

"But Dad," Riley said but didn't finish.
"No buts. Look at you," Cory said.
"I'm fine," Riley said.

"No. You're not. I think you and Lucas need to talk," Maya said.
"Another time. It's Christmas Maya."
"Fine."

Maya rolled her eyes and Riley knew she is annoyed by her.

"You know what you're doing isn't fair towards Maya. She has to stop you," Cory said.
"What is it with you? Usually I was the one that had to do the stopping work," Riley said.
"Maybe it's because I have moved. I have to get changed before the rest get here," Maya said.

She went upstairs and then she jumped through the shower.
She got dressed and went down stairs.
She was almost down when she heard a knock and hide.

"So how many times have you gone out?" Josh asked

"So how many times have you gone out?" Josh asked.
"Shut up," Riley said.
"Don't talk to your uncle like that," Cory said and Riley rolled her eyes.
"Riley. Go get Maya please," Topanga said.
"Okay."

Maya came down stairs and Josh's breath was blown away.
Like always she was gorgeous even though she wasn't trying.

"She doesn't have to Mrs Matthews. Hi Josh," Maya said.
"Hey Maya," Josh said and gave Maya a hug.

"So what are we gonna do first?" Riley asked.
"No we're not doing that. Riley," Maya said and rolled her eyes.
"What about a song? My daughter has a beautiful voice," Shawn said.
"Why not?" Maya said and went over to Maya.
"Okay. Let's see what you've got Riley," Maya said.

Riley played a soft melody kinda like classical pop music.
Maya smiled at Josh and sang.

"Me and you.
Never known anyone like you before.
Someone who could make me smile.
When I'm falling down on the floor.
Never laughed so hard 'till I met you.
Somehow you get me when nobody else has a clue.
It's okay to be me next to you.
It feels good to be one of the two.
Just like glue.
Me and you.
Ooh, Ooh.
So glad I got a guy like you.
Me and you.
Ooh, Ooh.
Always got each others back we do.
'Cause everything's a little bit better.
When you and I stick together.
Stuck on you.
Ooh, Ooh.
Me and you.
Ooh, Ooh.
If you need a shoulder, you got mine.
If you're ever in a pinch.
You know I'd give you my very last dime.
Two peas in a pod, me and you.
In perfect harmony we're bobbin' our heads to the groove.
Ooh, Ooh.
Me and you.
Ooh, Ooh.
You always got a friend, always got a friend.
Always got a friend in me.
I always got a friend, always got a friend.
Always got a friend in you too.
You always got a friend, always got a friend.
Always got a friend in me.
I always got a friend, always got a friend.
That's the way it's gonna be.
Me and you.
Ooh, Ooh.
So glad I got a guy like you.
Me and you.
Ooh, Ooh.
Always got each others back we do.
'Cause everything's a little bit better.
When you and I stick together.
Stuck on you.
Ooh, Ooh.
Me and you.
Me and you, me and you.
Always got a friend, always got a friend (oh yeah).
Always got a friend in me (me and you).
I always got a friend, always got a friend.
Always got a friend in you too.
'Cause everything's a little bit better (yeah).
When you and I stick together.
Stuck on you.
Ooh, Ooh.
Me and you.
You."

Everyone clapped hands and Maya smiles.
She definitely has talent.

" Wow. Your dad definitely has a reason to brag," Josh said.
" So singing as a career. What made you decide that?" Cory asked.
" Wasn't money to go learn," Maya said.
" Have you had a bad few years Shawn?" Cory asked.
"No. I've been doing okay. Maya is just decideless. Can't make a decision and now she has music," Shawn said.

Shawn looked at Maya and she knew she had to keep quiet.
She didn't speak for the rest of the night about it and it wasn't bad.
The ate dinner like every year and when it was time to go everyone was excited about what is gonna happen next.
