Retelling A Tale

Yang's pov

I sat around the house a few days after the Haven incident, we really had nothing to do and Ozpin told us nothing about the relic.

Y/N appeared in front of me as i sat at the table. He leaned on his hand and crossed his leg.

Y/N: So, Ozpin's still a shady asshole huh?

Me: Yeah... you said you went to Beacon, right,

Y/N: I did. Wa-Wait a minute, are you asking to hear my story?

Me: Not really-

Y/N: Well it all started a good 20 years ago

Y/N's pov

I stepped off the old style air ship and looked around, proud of myself that i got there but it's obvious that i was going to anyway.

"Did you have to find a 'relic' for initation?"

"No, see what we did was completely different but i'll get to it"

Looking down to my wrists i saw my weapons which i built myself, they were wrist mounted guns that were quite technologically advanced

I began walking across the campus although something bumped into me. There was a thud before i turned to see a girl with a large white hood and cloak sitting on the floor.

?: Ow... i have to figure out a landing strategy

Me: You okay?

She looked up to me and i saw a defining feature of her, she had silver eyes that were just... hard to look away from

The girl stood up quickly and dusted herself off before bowing her head.

?: Sorry, i didn't see you!

Me: It's fine, really. I'm Y/N

"That was Summer, wasn't it?"

"...Thanks Yang, you ruined the big surprise"

Summer: Summer Rose, it's uh... sorry but your eyes are weird. I-I mean the colour, to me at least, b-but i'm not saying their weird weird just different

She wasn't wrong, my right eye was blue and my left one was green. The way she tried to explain herself was kinda cute honestly

Me: Really, my eyes are weird? Says Ms. Sliver eyes right here

Summer didn't seem to like this which was evident by her pulling her hood down to it shadowed over her eyes

Summer: They're not weird... everyone i know has them

Me: Well i've never seen anyone with eyes like yours

Summer: Let's stop talking about my eyes! Anyway, I'm kinda... lost

I chuckled before looking around, seeing the great hall in the distance i tapped her shoulder and pointed at it

Me: I think we have to go there

Summer: Oh, thanks!

She turned into rose petals as she dashed off, i watched in confusion until she hit a pole.

Walking over to her i saw her sat on the ground again as she held her head in pain, can she not stop or turn?

"So what you're saying is she was really childish when you two first met"

"First met? No, she was always childish"

Crouching down to her level i heard her sniffle which made me feel bad for her, she seemed like a fish out of water... and into a meat grinder

Me: You uh, you doing okay there?

Summer: This place sucks... there are too many things in the way

Me: Yeah, that's what eyes are for, you look around. Seriously it's like you have tunnel vision or something

She began getting up shakily as i stood up, Summer stumbled and nearly tripped over her feet by i managed to catch her by grabbing her hand.

It took a bit for her to open her eyes but when she did and saw that our hands were interconnected she jumped back and ran towards the fountain before washing her hand...

"Wow, that must've felt bad."

"You have no idea, but the reason wss a bit more different then you'd think"

Me: Hey, i'm not dirty, i showered!

Summer: They told me you can only hold hands when you're engaged

Yang's pov

?: Yang

Turning my head away i saw Ruby standing there... shoot, she must've seen me talking to Y/N, who she can't see...

Me: Y-yeah?

Ruby: Who were you talking to?

Glancing to Y/N he shook his head and appeared in front of Ruby

Y/N: Don't do it Yang, your uncle will almost certainly kill you and therefore, klll me

Me: Was... talking to... an A.I in my head that only i can hear and see

Y/N: Great, we're dead.

Ruby:... Pfft, yeah right. If he's real then tell me how many fingers i'm holding up

Y/N sighed and walked behind her, he put a hand on his chin as i looked to Ruby

Y/N: 6

Me: 6

Y/N: 9

Me: 9

Y/N: 4

Me: 4

Y/N: 2

Me: 2

Y/N: 0

Me: 0

Ruby looked shocked and sat down, putting a hand on her head as she took time to think.

Me: It... was a surprise for me too

Ruby: Did you plan on teling anyone?

Me:... When i found out if he could be trusted, maybe. But please, don't tell anyone else

Ruby: What, why?

Me: He didn't want me to tell anyone about him, but i can't keep this from you. But you have to trust me and not tell anyone, okay?

Ruby: I... Okay
