"yuna, right?" a voice shakes me off of my thoughts, and i see seokmin smiling down at me. "it's me, seokmin."

i smile back at him, despite the bitter pain in my chest, "i remember you." i put away the papers from my desk and beckon him forward. "why aren't you in the cafeteria with the others?"

seokmin shrugs, then grins again at me, "lunch ends in thirty minutes, yuna. and you weren't with eunha or yoobin and minkyung—i figured that you're skipping lunch, again."

i look up at him, a confused expression on my face. was it that late already? "i didn't mean to skip lunch, i really had to finish this assignment and i guess i lost track of time." i grin at him sheepishly as i rub my neck nervously.

seokmin plopped down on the seat in front of me, "i know, that's why i brought you what eunha bought for you—kimbap."

i gasp as he gets a bowl of kimbap out of the plastic bag that he was carrying.

"you brought my lunch? thank you." i say, touched.

seokmin smiles, "enjoy your lunch, yuna."

we talk for a few minutes until everything is out of my mind.

expect for one thing:

the bittersweet feeling that never left my chest.

"i wasn't able to tell you, but I liked you."
