I loved the way
You stared into my eyes
and read them like an open book.
I loved the way
You kissed my neck from behind
and took me by surprise.
I loved the way
All my worries melted away
at your single touch.
I loved the way
Your arms felt around me
and took us both to neverland.
I loved the way
You tried to make me laugh
when I pretended to be upset
because you defeated me at the crossword puzzle.
I loved the way
You said my name
and made it sound like the most beautiful one in the entire world.
I loved the way
Our hands entangled
beneath the sheets
and you kissed my forehead
while whispering those
three magical words.
I loved the way
My heart fluttered at the
mere sight of you.
I loved the way
You made me feel about myself,
About us.
But above all,
I loved the way
Your love, no, our love
left an imprint on me.
Because now
No one else can make me feel
the way you did.
Now I don't want to feel anything
if it doesn't come from you.
And now I will always
love you the way
You loved me
even at the end of the day.
