Jennie didn't expect Lisa to open up like this. But she's thankful for it. Lisa never try to talk to anybody, after Jisoo left her she doesn't want to talk about it. And now here she is
"Lis, I don't know what your ex real reason for that but I'm thankful that she did that. Because you met my unnie and you made her happy, and you turned her life became a special one, you put a color in her life Lis...Well to answer your question, my sister really fought, for you. But then she couldn't make it. She's hurt Lisa, her body is so pale, skinnier, but trust me...she loves you she really do. She wanted to live but she knows what time is it" She smiled weakly
"Someday, someone will walk into your life and make you realize why it never worked out with them" Jennie narrowed her eyes
"I don't know Jen. I'm not ready yet, after these all heart breaks. I don't know if I still..."
"No don't. Don't say it. Please don't say want you wanted to say. Don't say it when you're not sure about it. You can't dictate what will happen in the future okay?"
"Really? We'll talk about something like this now? Like now? One month just passed and we're talking about my next lover? Come on Jen"
"I...I'm sorry, I...Nothing forget it. I'm sorry" She lowered her head feeling guilty. Lisa lift her head and smile weakly
"I know you're just concern Jen. But don't worry as long as I have you, I don't need anybody" Lisa sqeeze her cheeks as Jennie eyes widen when she realised what Lisa just said
"M..me?" Her heart start beating so fast
"Yes, you and our friends" as she heard that her heart drops. 'Wow one click. Too fast' She shrug it off and manage to give Lisa a geniune smile
"Yeah. We're here Lis, I'm here...always" She whispered the last word
"Thank you Jen, but I didn't heard the last word, what was that again?"
"...uhm nothing" Lie
"Okay? Do you want to go visit your sister?"
Jennie want to refuse but Lisa's moody as hell. In the morning she's kind, soft and all. But in midnight she's something you wouldn't want to deal with but Jennie of course she will do everything for Lisa just to make sure she's okay. Jennie used to it.
"Yeah of course Lis" She smiled softly
"Come on"
They are both silent went to cemetery. Lisa put down the flower in Jisoo's gravestone.
"Hi princess, how are you? I miss you" as she sat on the grass "You didn't answer me again, then you didn't ask me back again" she asked jokingly. Jennie shook her head while smiling. She find it cute.
"Hi Unnie I miss you. She's is crazy, isn't she?"
"Yah! I'm not crazy. But yeah whatever, I'll wait for her to talk" Jennie eyes widen
"No way! No unnie don't. Don't listen to her"
"Are you scared?" Lisa chuckled. Jennie hit her arm
"Yah! It's not funny. Of course, I'd rather hear her talking to me in my sleep than hearing her talking here, like right now" She rolled her eyes
"What? She's your sister, one conversation won't hurt"
"Yah! You're creepy as hell. Won't hurt? Yeah maybe you'll see me here too. It's not like I'm afraid of her but.."
"Yeah you're not afraid I see" She mocked. She turned to Jisoo's gravestone
"Love, I miss you...so so so bad. I want to ask you something...What if I date someone?" Jennie eyes widen "Just kidding. Don't be mad, I won't betray you, I won't cheat on you" Jennie lowered her head. That hurts so much.
Lisa talk to Jisoo non stop, like the old times, she's telling her stories. While Jennie looking at Lisa weakly. She feel bad for her, Lisa doesn't deserve in a position like this. She deserve the world. Lisa got up and help Jennie.
"Come on, I'll drop you to your house"
"Do you want to go somewhere?" She asked
"No I'm good. I'll just drink and sleep" She shrugged. Jennie faced her
"Lis, drinking is not a solution" She snapped
"Jen I'll drop you to your house, I'll just you know drink" She smiled weakly
"C..can I join you? I..I mean if you...want, you know" She asked nervously. Lisa turn her gazed to Jennie for a second
"Are you sure? You're not..."
"Come on Lis. We're not in high school anymore. Of course I will drink"
"Hey princess, look at your sister. She's drinking without you. Wanna join us? Ouch!" Jennie hit her arm very hard
"One more I'll choke you to death" Jennie gritted her teeth. Lisa burst out laughing while Jennie just crossed her arms and glare at her
"Hahaha...I...I'm sorry hahaha jeeez! Sorry can't help it" She zipped her mouth. "Sorry for bullying your sister Love she's cute when she's mad. By the way, we need to go. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you so much my wife" She kissed the gravestone and faced Jennie "Jennie-yah!" Of course Jennie is spacing out. She know she heard it clearly, Lisa called her cute.
"Yah!" Lisa pinch her nose
"You're spacing out. Psh. Come on, we're leaving" Lisa walked to her car
"Bye unnie" She followed Lisa.
Jennie sat in shotgun seat. As Lisa talk to her
"Your sister told me...Yah!" She said rubbing her arm that Jennie hit
"I swear to God, I'll choke you to death" She death glare Lisa who's enjoying to see Jennie's reaction
"What?" Lisa chuckled. Though Jennie is really pissed at her but deep down she's enjoying to see the playful Lisa again. It's barely happen when Jisoo dead.
"What my ass. Just focus on driving or..."
"Or else what Nini?"
"Nini?"
"Yeah short for Jennie" Jennie's mouth formed 'o'
"Cute just like me"
"You're so full of yourself Kim" She shook her head smiling. Lisa continue teasing Jennie as they reach her house. They went to the rooftop.
"Lisa-yah it's beautiful here" Jennie said in amusment
"Yeah. It's relaxing" She smiled looking at the stars. "Just like your unnie. I know she's watching us right now" She sighed heavily "Jen, do you know how much it hurts? Realising every time you wake up, the reason why you still want to breathe isn't there anymore. The person I only want to be with left me. I don't know what I did in the past to feel all this pain" Jennie grabbed her hands
"Lis, I know it hurts. And I know I can't do nothing but just to be here for you. I can't do anything Lis other than this. It's just that destiny is playing with you" She paused as she let go of Lisa's one hand and grabbed something in her pocket
"Unnie give me something, but I didn't open it. I know it's private. I hope this will help you? I don't know." She put in on her hand. She reach lisa's eyes "I will always be here for you. Always" She sincerely said and cupped her cheeks as she lean closer to kiss lisa's forehead while she close her eyes. Then she pulled away. Lisa give her a soft smile
"Thank you Jennie-ya I appreciate you. A lot"
