The beginning of the walk was incredibly awkward. I think this had to do with the fact that I was keeping my distance from Leonardo, but in my defense, this man was pretty terrifying. I could feel him trying to get closer and closer to me, but I just kept moving more and more away from him.

"So what class do you have coming up?" he asked breaking the silence between us. Considering the fact that lunch didn't end for another five minutes, we had some time to spare so I wasn't all that much in a rush to get to class.

"Oh I have chemistry," I said while reciting my schedule in my head. He nodded his head and we kept walking.

"It's been a while since I've last seen you," he told me while turning his head to look at me. I could feel his eyes staring into the side of my head, but I kept my eyes glued to the floor keeping my focus on my shoes.

"You left for a little while there." I really don't think my head processes the majority of the things that come out of my mouth.

I finally mustered up the courage to look at him, just to have him looking back at me. Our eyes locked and immediately I could feel my heart rate picking up.

He smirked me, "It was the longest two years of my life being away from you."

My eyes widened and I felt my cheeks getting hot, I immediately looked back at the ground. How the hell do I respond to that? Did Leonardo have feelings for me? A million thoughts were running through my head and yet I still couldn't think of an appropriate response to his question.

The only thing that came out of my mouth was a squeaked, "What?"

"Aria, there's a lot of things you have yet to know, but in due time everything will be revealed. Patience is key little one," he told me grabbing my hand to make us stop walking. I hadn't noticed that we had already gotten to the class, those three minutes felt like a lifetime with him.

His rough hand reached under my chin and lifted my head up so that we were face to face. I hadn't noticed how close he had gotten to me, and now his body was a mere couple inches away from mine.

"I-wha-I don-," I began before he shushed me.

"I have some things I need to take care of, however, after your class, I will pick you up and we will drive home together. I do believe that our parents are having dinner later tonight, so makes more sense to go together," he smiled at me before letting go of my hand and walking away from me, leaving my flabbergasted self, standing in front of the class. At this point, lunch had already ended and kids were beginning to make their way to class, most of them looking at me with either curiosity or a look of shock. It might've been both but I'm sure that my face resembled the same look.

I still had no idea what was going on but when I walked into class, all I could think about was being in a car alone with Leonardo and how did he know what my last class of the day was?

Plus the fact that his family and my family were having dinner together tonight, it all just seemed like everything was moving a little bit too quickly for me to wrap my head around. I mean all in one day I heard he was back, and then suddenly he's walking me to class and then we're driving home together. What the hell was going on?

I went to my seat and waited for the rest of the class to fill up. I had to tell the girls about everything that happened because I honestly did not know what to think of it all.

As the teacher began her lecture, I still was not able to focus on any of the information she was talking about as my mind was filled with thoughts of the blue eyes I had come into contact with today. I really needed to chill out.

All I could think about was one thing.

What did Leonardo want with me?
