"What did you just say to me?" Duke looked over at me as I kept my eyes away from him.

I grabbed the door, "You need to leave."

"I won't leave you alone with everything going on right now!"

I glanced up at him, "I can protect myself."

"You need to wake up and see that you are just some random kid from the Midwest!"

' "With a bloodline that dates back to the middle ages." I glared up at him.

Duke looked at me.

"This is about me and him. This doesn't need your blood spilled too."

Duke put his hand on my cheek, "Anna, I wanna believe you but I can't."

My eyes got wide when Duke went flying out of the room.

I jumped back as the door slammed shut.

"You really don't have time for that." Camille said to me as she walked over to me.

"You attacked Duke."

"I am helping you."

I looked over at her.

"I know, you hate me now."

"Camille, what is going on?"

Camille looked at me.

"I don't understand anymore."

Camille nodded her head back at me, "You will."

I narrowed my eyes at her when she placed her hand on my forehead.

I picked my head up when Mom called out my name again.

I looked around as we were back in the west coast house the summer before we moved to Greece.

I sat up as Mom walked into the room glaring down at me, "What are you doing Annabelle?"

I shook my head as she tossed the apple over to me.

"What are we doing here?"

Mom glanced back at me with her eyes narrowed, "A memory."

I slowly looked up at her.

"This isn't good."

"Mom, what do you mean by that?"

"When you have to uncover a memory then your future is dark and death is coming."

"Camille told me that I would understand."

Mom nodded her head back at me, "That with this memory you would see your future."

"I'm still kinda lost."

Mom walked over to me and placed her hands on my face, "You being here means that I am dead."

My eyes got wide.

"You are in line and Camille wants you to see that you have to step up now."

"Mom, I don't understand."
