alone
in a room full of people
staring at the wall
trying not to cry.
holding all emotions in
because if they start to trickle out
the dam might just break.
holding back the tears
a twenty foot brick wall.
inch by inch
the cracks widen
until there is a hole
the size of my feelings.
water held back by willpower.
