i long for a feeling i've never known
a type of love that i've never been shown.
i want to be looked at as a star.
not a celebrity, but as someone who lights up a world.
i want to be someone who people have to get a second glance at.
i want to be noticed.
i want the time and effort i put into getting ready to be validated.
i want to be somebody to someone.
all i've ever wanted was to be important, because that's something i've never had.
i want to feel valuable, but maybe i was just born into a cheap body.
maybe all i have left is the dream of becoming.
