okay, okay. I get it. this is a cheap, easy and quick segue into your story - but it's really overused. it's so dull, I swear I must have read at least ten stories that begin the first chapter exactly like this.

it doesn't matter which band/singer it is, there will always be a 'adopted by ______' fic for them on this website.

5sos, bts [or any kpop band, really], the vamps, why don't we, etc. - you name it.

Hell, I've even seen big time rush adoption fics. A LOT of big time rush adoption fanfic.

this was really popular back in 2011-2 for some reason, but has only recently turned the heads of the e-girls on tiktok. it has to be said, they mock the cliché perfectly.

all tiktoks aside, please don't use this cliché. it's really fucking dumb, and should have died like everything else in 2011. How would you feel if Rebecca Black's 'Friday' was still being talked about?
