Elentiya

"I handled the situation well, father." Rowan smiled yet his eyes never left Aeden's face. The tension between them thickened as Aeden stepped through the portal into Terrasen and announced "Elentiya is my mate." Rowan blinked once, twice and then bared his teeth revealing his elongated canines. Aeden bared his own right back, most likely unaware of the lethal power Rowan was capable of wielding.

The air between the two males suddenly moved as someone stepped through the darkness that appeared. Feyre, the high lady of the Night Court had arrived, most likely to collect her son, Elentiya couldn't help but feel relieved as she stared down Aeden and her father. "How is it that you are able to teleport over such lengths?" Her father ask Feyre, his faze not shifting from Aeden's face. "Question for a question." Feyre replied, light dancing in her steely blue eyes. "Then let me rephrase my question, are you valg?" Rowan's face became the image of boredom, yet his tone... it was one that caused most enemies to balk. Yet Feyre did no such thing but answered smoothly "I have no idea what that is or what you are talking about. How do you intend to close this portal?"

"That's what I arrived here to address," Rowan replied, "We would like to hold a meeting within 3 days to discuss the matter, royals from around Erilea shall be summoned and we hope you gather anyone relevant to you too." Feyre raised an eyebrow but Aeden cut in with "If Elentiya and I will be attending, who will monitor the portal? Seeing as this meeting will make it a public issue, people want their safety to be the priority."

"We will hold the meetingin Perranth, within a close proximity to this room, presumably so you can teleport to here should I detect anything amiss with the portal." Elentiya declared, glancing to her father for a nod of confirmation. Aeden stared at Elentiya "And how will we know you are speaking true?" She levelled his stare as she replied quietly "Because it is my life that will be forfeited should damage come to this portal."

Aeden

3 days passed insufferably slowly and Aeden had not seen Elentiya since her father asked her to prepare Perranth for the meeting. Aeden knew with such short notice, few Prythian nobles decided to assemble, though some who arrived were more of a surprise than the others. Along with his father's inner circle, Lucien, as an emissary to the human lands, Tarquin and Varian of the Spring Court, Helion of the Day Court, Thesan's mate of the Dawn Court, Vivianne of the Winter Court (who was only allowed to attend under the terms she does not leave Morrigan's side) and to no amount of shock, Eris of the Spring Court agreed to attend. Only the Spring Court has neither replied nor shown up to the agreed meeting spot beside the portal. "Is this all? Well I guess no one wants to takes risks in case this turns about to be a hoax like Amarantha." Eris drawled, eyes darting to Rhys to see what damage he inflicted. "My mate would not do such a thing." Aeden snapped, baring his teeth at Eris. "Your mate, Heir of the Night Court, is still as unknown to us as we are to them." Eris replied with a smirk as a golden haired female appeared on the other side of the portal. She wore an extravagant green gown embroidered with golden lace, a crown of fire wreathed her golden head. Her arrogant smirk was equal to the one Elentiya constantly wore. "Welcome," She said as Rhys sauntered to the front of the group to greet her. "I am Queen Aelin Ashvryer Whitethorn Galanthynius of Terrasen and Faerie Queen of the West. Our meeting awaits in a chamber below, come through." No one dared to move as the Queen motioned for us to. "May we bargain, Aelin?" Rhys asked as Feyre moved next to him, Cassian and Azriel flanking them both. "In exchange for coming into your lands, no serious harm can be done to anyone inside the meeting." The Queen smirked "I wasn't aware such high and mighty faeries needed such rules to stop them squabbling like children," Feyre snorted as did the Illyrians, Aeden couldn't help but but his lip to suppress a laugh. "I accept your terms." The Queen finished, shaking Aeden's father's hand.

When the Prythian nobles entered the large chamber and sat around the huge oak table, covered in an emerald green table runner which had embroidered stags over the edges, the Terrasen nobles began to file in. The Queen and her consort sat in two throne like chairs at the head of the table, 2 males flanking them from behind. "Allow me to introduce everyone as they enter," She placed a hand on the male next to her "My husband and mate, Rowan Whitethorn Galanthynius," More figures began to file in, next to Rowan sat a female who looked remarkably like him "Fae Queen Sellene Whitethorn of the East," Two seats along from Aelin sat a pale white haired lady with golden eyes, "Queen Manon Blackbeak of the Ironteeth and Crochans," next to Manon sat a lady with a face almost identical to hers, the only difference was the lady had long midnight black hair, "Princess Asterin Havilliard Blackbeak of the Western Wastes and Ardarlan," flanking her was a golden skinned boy with bronze hair and eyes "Lord Alliser Westfall, Heir to the northern Torre Cesme and Hand to the King of Ardarlan," next to Asterin sat a dark skinned girl clad in beautiful golden clothing "Princess Nehemia II of Ellywe" one seat remained open and Aeden sensed her arrival before she stepped into the room. His heartbeat quickened as she entered wearing a dress, with a sparking bodice of ice that hugged the curves of her torso which complimented the pale green skirts that flowed beneath it, a tiara of ice sat atop her golden hair. "Finally, Princess Elentiya Ashvryer Whitethorn Galanthynius of Terrasen and the West."

Aeden wasn't entirely sure he was breathing as she took her place beside her mother, scanning the table with a neutral look plastered onto her face. As Rhys introduced the Prythian nobles, Aeden was unsure  how anyone could control themselves around their mate. His restraint was wearing thin, particularly as Elentiya winked at him before she began the meeting. "A portal has opened between our worlds, which is the cause of this meeting. The portal is entirely my fault and I shall respect the decision we come to today." She glared around the table, as if daring anyone to say something. It was Eris who spoke first as he gazed upon Manon "Before we begin, what breeds of creature do we have here?" Manon held his gaze and said flatly whilst indicating to herself "Witch," Eris flinched, as did the other Prythian nobles, "Pureblooded fae," she continued, pointing to Elentiya, "Demi-fae," she pointed at Aelin, "Human and witchling-human." she indicated to Alliser and Asterin. "And you?" She asked, crossing her arms as she leaned back into her chair. "High fae, half breed and Illyrian" he said, pointing to himself, Rhys and Azriel.

"Now we are done with the petty questions, what do you think we should do?" Elentiya asked, Eris is a prick, she whispered down the bond. "The most important question is, what is the price of shutting down the portal?" Feyre inquired.

"My life." Elentiya answered without flinching.
