Draco had been there for 15 minutes. Waiting for her. Where was she? Did she agree just as a joke, or was it real, but did she decide not to come? Draco was so worried. He couldn't bear to think that he had risked his heart for someone who didn't feel the same way. But then he heard someone coming down the corridor. Hoping it wasn't one of the teachers, he waited for the person to speak?

"Draco? I'm sorry I kept you waiting, I had to find something to do with my hair."

He turned around. Hermione. She looked even more stunning than before. The lavender gown fit her just right, and... what had she done to her hair? It looked..... straight. She had put it into a messy bun round the back of her head, and her eyes had a bit of lavender eyeshadow on them, with some clear lip gloss on her lips.

"Hermione. No that's not trouble at all. You look lovely, as always."

She blushed like crazy just at that one comment. "Why thank you Draco. Now will you please tell me why we're here of all places dressed like this?" Hermione had a funny feeling that this would NOT end well.

Draco smirked. She was worried. He could tell. "Why? Are you scared that you'll get caught out after hours?" he said teasingly.

Hermione's jaw dropped.' I am NOT! Now will you please tell me why we're here, or did you just invite me here to tease me?'

Draco was a little shocked by her standing up for herself. but he liked it. Independence. Confidence. He liked that in a woman. "Okay, alright, don't get your knickers in a twist. Take my hand."

She hesitated. What if this was a prank?

"Well? Don't you trust me?"

(Authors Note: LOL I stole from Aladdin XD)

"Yes I do, but-"

"Your afraid it's a prank? I assure you it isin't. Just look at my hands." He turned his hands over so that his palms we're facing the high ceilings of the old castle. "See? Nothing. You trust me now?"

She was reassured. She took his hand, and they faced the tapestry. She didn't know what happened, but then, all of sudden, a door appeared in the middle of the tapestry.

"Shall we?" he asked politely.

"Yes, we shall." She said, with a smile on her face.

When they entered the room, it was massively huge. Three huge chandeliers, a huge mural on the ceiling, and a perfectly polished grand piano, with a huge ballroom dance floor with big windows that stretched from floor to ceiling. Hermione recognized it immediately. "It looks JUST like the ballroom from Beauty and the Beast!"

"Exactly. This is the Room of Requirement, a room that only appears when the seeker needs something, and the room molds to the seeker's needs. i needed a ballroom where no one would find us, and that you would like, and it gave me this. Do you like it?"

Hermione, during this speech, was in the middle of the room, spinning around. She still heard every word. "This is amazing! I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you Draco."

He still had another trick up his sleeve. "So you don't think that this night could get any better?"

"No, of course not. Why do you ask?" She started to get suspicious.

" Because of this." He walked over to the record player in the corner. She hadn't noticed it when she first entered, but now Hermione wondered what it was doing there.

Draco knew this would work. It had to. He put the first record on the pile on the player. When it started to play, he turned towards his date. As the music played, her eyes widened, and started to tear up. he walked to wards her during the introduction and asked "May I have this dance?"

Hermione was in complete and utter shock. it was her favourite song. "I See the Light" from Tangled.

(Authors note: Yes, i know that this song isint on an actual record, and this movie wasn't even in the minds of the disney people at the time, but i'm listening to the song right now, and it seemed like a better option than my other choice. So shut up and enjoy the story.)

He took her arm and lead her out to the middle of the floor. They danced to the song for what seemed like forever. The words of the song spoke so clearly to Hermione. She looked up at Draco. then it hit her. Everything looked different, now that she saw him. Hermione realized now what Fate wanted. Draco was The one.

Draco had known hermione was the one from the first day they met at Hogwarts. he couldn't imagine life without her, and he needed to be right here, with her, with her, for the rest of his natural life. As she rubbed her head into his chest, he tilted her head up, looked deep into those caramel brown eyes, her eyes looking back into his carribien blue eyes. it wasn't long before they're lips met.

They both felt sparks. From that night on, paradise. But everything would change throughout the year.
