I didn't mutter a reply. Simply, I just smiled. I felt my cheeks go hot, thinking that maybe you've seen me grinning over your casual voice and an uncontrollable abashment has showered over me.
Instead, you talked again. "Were you doing anything?"
Gathering all my guts, I finally let out a sheer voice. "I was just reading." Then I placed my book back to the bedside table, realizing that you got more of my attention from the book itself.
