— Midorikawa Ryuuji 💞 —

"Hey, can I borrow that book for a sec?" Midorikawa asked you, gently snatching the book you were reading from your hands.

You were gonna protest, but was confused to find him fiddling with a highlighter in his hand. And just like that, you watched him scan the book speedily, then highlight it. He did this all the while you were watching him utterly confused.

"There! Done!" He chirped, then handed the book back to you. After that, he quickly took off, leaving you in a confused state, your brows arched at his retreating figure.

You shook your head, chuckling at his weirdness. You then decided to open your book to find out what he had highlighted.

The words were pretty easy to find, for they were highlighted with a neon green tint. You closely looked at every word, every line, every page; 'til there was none left.

You gathered everything you found that was highlighted, and found out that it formed the sentence:

"Will you go to prom with me?"

bonus:

You gave him your answer through a poem you wrote. He was confused for it seemed out of the blue since it didn't relate to any recent event, nor is it related to prom.

However, after a while, he wasn't stupid enough after all to notice that the first letters of every line spelled the word: "Okay".
