Melodic laughter resounded in the air, coming from Froy, the jubilant lad who's happily skipping around the field filled with greens and beautiful expansion of flowers. His dove-grey locks danced with the wind as he twirled around the meadow, his elated smile and laughter never ceasing.

Clutching at the camera you held, your lips pouted at the sight of him.

"Mou. . , Froy!" you whined, stomping your feet rather impatiently.

"Hm? What?~" Froy jeered, darting his eyes to look at you with a teasing grin now on his face.

"The project!! Ugh~!" grumbling tiredly at him, you slouched your back, fed up with his antics.

"Eh~ That can wait [y/n]~" he waved off his hand at you, dismissing your scolding.

You scoffed, exhausted with even having to reason with the childish lad. The reason you were with him here is for the project that the two of you were paired up on for the photography class. You didn't know whether being paired up with the pretty boy was a blessing—or trouble.

'It's definitely the latter. .' grumbling under your breath, you sighed exasperatedly. Having nothing else to do, you decided to fiddle with the camera instead.

You directed it at everything around you, finding something that's worth capturing. Amidst your search, your thoughts of looking for something to capture was halted, when the camera landed upon your partner.

'Your task is to take a picture of something "capture-worthy"! Maybe an "eye candy" or anything that's uhh. . well, something that's caught your attention! Nyurufufufu~'

Recalling the words of your teacher, Koro-sensei, it nagged at you whether this was what would be deemed "capture worthy". You were unsure of the answer yourself, but perhaps the quickened beating of your heart signalled the answer already.

There he stood solemnly, the subtle ray of sun gracing upon him, lighting him up an iridescent glow—as if he wasn't as bright already. The smile stretched on his lips lit his features further, as he eyed the flower he held with passion burning in his blue eyes.

Breathtaking.

Heartwarming.

Ethereal.

Words were knocked out of your head, your breathing seemingly ceased, hands trembling as you quickly but carefully pressed the snap button.

It was a moment truly to be captured.

Now it's captured; magnificently as how the boy looked live. A relieved smile now stretched on your lips, as you admired the photo.

Froy noticed your smitten daze; his face contorted to a curious pout.

"[y/n]~! What'cha lookin' at?!" He called, flailing his arms at the air to catch you in your daze.

You lifted your head to avert your gaze at him, the smile still present on your face, catching the once cheeky boy in surprise.

This time, his heart was the one that's weirdly pumped up.

"Oh? It's nothing, nothing~" innocently, you cooed, waving your hands as to dismiss his curiosity.

"Hey, you just keep doing your thing there, okay?" You told him, offering a sweet smile; which sent goosebumps crawling on his skin. Hesitantly, he just nodded his head several times at you, unable to cope with his heart speeding up. He managed to force a sly smirk on his lips, hoping it'll cover up his flustered demeanour. Thank God the sun's kind of shadowing my face.

Just like that, the afternoon was spent in bliss; Froy basking beneath the warm sun in the beautiful meadow; [y/n] basking in the warmth Froy provided her from how he was so adorable in every shot she took of him. She felt tingles all over her nerves, jolting her heart every now and then.

'Til the sun was almost sinking at the horizon, they're now locked in a love-sick stare, gazing at each other's eyes happily. [y/n] let out a final breath of relief, then began to stand up to dust her skirt.

"Let's go home, Froy." she said, to which Froy mindlessly nodded to in response. He walked side by side with [y/n], a tranquil silence reigning between them; the sound of their heartbeats was ever so calming, almost like a lull to a peaceful sleep.

Until, Froy remembered something, waking him up from his trance.

"Wait—what about the project?" He queried, abruptly stopping in his steps. [y/n] simply smiled at him, "Done and done."

Froy gave her a hesitant look, but soon diminished to a small smile, nodding his head in understanding. Somehow, the lass's words reassured him.

Moreso when—

"Thank you for being my partner for this project Froy." Standing on your tippy-toes, you rose to reach Froy's face, pressing a soft peck on his cheek — catching him in surprise.

Oddly though, despite the thumping of his heart, he felt natural. He spared you a small smile; though, it's more than enough to cause the blood to rush to your face, staining your cheeks red.

"Sooo, what's the subject of your work this time, [l/n]-chan?~" Koro-sensei queried in a singsang tone, a slyly excited grin playing at his lips. Truth be told, he was looking forward to your work; even the ones you passed to him right from the beginning. Having found the knowledge of your inspiration behind your astounding works, he thought, why not pair you up with your inspiration?

And now his heart was thumping ever so loudly against his chest, adrenaline rushing through him as his excitement rose.

Never had he expected the outcomes, though.

"Well, Froy and I initially didn't have anything to do. It was hard. I gave up." nonchalantly, you told him.

Before he could cut you with what you presumed a violent confused reply, you cut him off, "so in the end, we just took pictures—ehem, I took pictures of him."

"You just took pictures of him?"

"Yep."

"Oh. . ."

"But. . you just took pictures of him."

"Exactly."

"Amidst the search for something worth capturing, I never thought that my heart would be the one that'll be captured by my subject."

a/n: i enjoyed writing this ^^ but, i think y'all readers probably got bored (if u even read through til the end) :( n e wayz i like how this turned out ùvú although i think froy was OOC :( why was korosensei in here? don't even fucking ask— XD
