Fubuki Atsuya was just humming a little tune to himself, walking down the snowy path towards Hakuren when he suddenly heard cries somewhere. . .

"What the? Is that someone crying?" Quickly, he looked around him, then shuffled to his feet to follow the sound.

Then, he found a little girl, sat on the ground, her hands covering her crying eyes. It seemed that she was hurt, so Atsuya approached her slowly, but cautiously.

"O-Oi, little girl. What happened to you?" he spoke, softening his gruff tone.

The little girl lifted up her head at him, and her [e/c] orbs peered at him, which Atsuya found adorable.

"I-I-I fwell, then s-scraped my knee. . ." she said, hiccuping between words.

'Aw, cute!' Atsuya thought, choking back the laughter that was bubbling up in his throat. He tried so hard to contain himself; but alas, he failed. He burst into laughter.

"Pfft—bWAHAHAH That's so cute! But—hAHAHA why would you fall? sKSKSHAHHAHA" He bursted. He was practically wheezing now. Right in front of the poor little girl.

Seeing this, the little girl grew mad, she frowned, then went back to a crying fit; louder this time. Atsuya, being a headass, laughed even more when he heard her cry again. Poor girl.

"Hah~ Okay, okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, little girl—"

"I'm not a wittle gurl and I have a name too!" she yelled.

'Aww you're so cute—okay DAMN, ATSUYA FOCUS!'

With this, Atsuya breathed out, then crouched down in front of the child. "Okay, okay. What's your name then, kid?"

Still frowning at him, she grumbled, "My name's [y/n]", then crossed her arms.

"Okay, [y/n]-chan. I'm Atsu-nii," Atsuya chirped merrily, as to erase the 'bad guy' thoughts he thinks the child has on him.

It seemed effective since the little girl slightly dropped the frown. With this, Atsuya trailed his eyes towards the little girl's scraped knee, his eyes softening at the sight of it.

"Aww, that doesn't look too bad." he snickered softly, "But I bet it hurts, doesn't it?" he queried kindly, to which the little girl nodded meekly in response.

"Alrighty!"

Swiftly, he snaked his arm around her back, the other beneath her legs, then lifted her up, carrying her without any difficulty. (yeS bridal style ;D ) This caught the little girl by surprise.

"UWAAH!"

"Shh, calm down, calm down." Atsuya hushed, smiling at her cheekily. "Let's take you to the clinic, then get your injury fixed up, okay?" he reassured. The little girl smiled.

She nodded her head, then said, "Okay! But then, we'll get ice cream after?"

Atsuya gave her an 'are you serious?' look, then said, "What? Where's your mom, little gir—"

The little girl frowned even before he could finish.

"Ugh. Fine. Okay, we'll get ice cream."

"YAAYYY!!" The little girl cheered, her frown instantly brighting up to a cheerful grin. She leaned towards Atsuya's face, then placed a little kiss on his cheeks.

"You're the best, Atsu-nii!"

Flustered, Atsuya's face turned bright red at this.

"Ugh. . . you're lucky you're so cute, little girl. . ."
