*still Pipp's POV*
"Well, no..." Nez replied.
"But we know that this simple approach of yours to our brother might bring you something you've dream of." Aussie added.
"His death?" I tried not to laugh with Kuya Del's reply and hit his arm while kuya martial was basically on the floor dying already. Canada coughed awkwardly, Nez was just staying silent but Aussie was laughing harshly with my brothers making me laugh too. Everyone stopped and looked at me. They looked really attracted to my big laugh making me look so small and shy.
"Well, ya have such a cute laugh milady." Aussie told me making me blush.
"No wonder america fell head over heels for her." I heard Canada whisper to Nez.
"What did you say, Canada?" kuya Martial suddenly became serious.
"Kuya, don't be like that. You're scaring maple." I sighed.
"M-maple? Oh lord. Make my brother marry her." I pretended not to hear his statement and looked away just to realise that it was getting really late.
"It's really dark outside. Go to my room and sleep there. I'll sleep with my brothers tonight and first thing in the morning, I'm going to town with the three of you." My brothers looked at me as if I did something REALLY bad.
"What?"
"You're making them stay?"
"Well, It's just for one night. Come one kuyas. Have some mercy on them. Look at how dark it is outside." my brothers sighed and just walked to their rooms.
"Why won't you sleep with us in your room?" Neth asked.
"First of all I only have one banig, and a duyan. So two of you can sleep on the floor and the other one would be on the duyan." they looked confuse.
"You don't have beds?" Canada asked.
"What you expect? We live in poverty because of your brother. We don't buy things for ourselves because of the war. Our people needs food more than we need useless beds." I pushed them into my room.
"Make yourself at home. Unless you want to go home late at night when snakes roam around." Aussie look excited.
"Snakes? Seriously mate?" I nodded.
"Wanna see some? Get up at 4AM. I'll accompany you." He nodded and smiled at me mouthing a 'thank you' and I got to my brothers room and slept.
~4AM~
I got up remembering what I told to Aussie. I brushed my hair, changed my clothes into my brothers' clothes to stay safe. I got in my room to see Aussie looking outside my window.
"Psst Aus!" I whispered yelled and he looked at me, I met his beautiful shining eyes making me flustered and turn back.
"Let's go" He followed me into the forest while I was walking beside him with my lampara. It was awfully quiet. Aussie coughed a few times. But suddenly he attacked me with words.
"You look so beautiful. No wonder America loves you so much." I got shocked and glared at him. My cheeks burning so bad.
"Aww, our Star's blushing." he chuckled making me glare at him even more.
"There you go. Here's some snake." We got to the top of the mountain where all the snakes were.
"Wow, they're such some beauties." He walked to them making me panic.
"bRO THEY BITE GET OUT OF THERE" I screamed-whisper again but he just laughed me off. He held them one by one. Greeting them, saying that he's not an enemy. That he's a friend.
"is he crazy?" I thought.
"Hey Pipp! C'mere." He pulled me with him. I was shaking, my eyes filled with tears.
"Aussie, if you want to die, don't bring me with you."
"You're not gonna die. Don't worry." he replied.
"Hey lil' mates. This is Pipp, my future gal." he whispered the last three words. I heared it but I acted that I didn't. I mean...
"Lil' mates? That's what you call them?" he nodded.
"Magandang umaga mga kaibigan ko~ This is my friend Aussie. He wanted to meet you so I brought him here. Please don't eat me. Kay crush lang ako magpapakain." I introduced myself to the snakes and they just kept crawling and crawling.
We kept watching them. And I finally realised how cute they were. But I also noticed how aussie kept getting a glance of me while smiling to the creatures I once feared. Wait what- if I feared once and I saw the good in them. Will I see the good in the one I saw hatred at? Is America actually good even if he did something wrong to me and my family? Was it all an accident?
"Hey Star?" Aussie let out. I hummed in response.
"We should get going now. It's sunrise." I nodded and we walked all the way down home just to see that everyone was still sleeping.
"Are you going with us to see Ame?" Aussie asked randomly.
"I already told you last night. Yes, yes I am. Now go wake your brothers up. Let's go."
