Author's Note:
I realized I do these a lot... So, anyway, this chapter is so incredibly short, it hurts. So, I've had an extremely rough day, guys. Please bare with me if updates become distant or crazy. I may put up no chapters of anything for a week, or five chapters of each book a day.
<3 thebeatlemaniaclifeI shook my head. "No," I stated. I slowly walked to the refrigerator and got some cheese. I stalked up the stairs and went to my room. I slammed the door.
I flopped on my bed and groaned. I didn't want help. I just wanted people to leave me the hell alone. I felt something in my stomach. I ran to the bathroom and choked up the cheese.
I closed my eyes and leaned against the sink. I heard the door open and close and someone crouch beside me. "Are you okay, love," A woman's soft voice asked.
"Cyn," I asked. "Hmm," Cynthia's sweet voice asked. "W-will you go to the store with me to get something," I asked. I needed to know something.
"Of course, love," Cyn said. Cynthia helped me up and picked something out for me to wear. Meanwhile, I applied some base and foundation.
I then put some eyeshadow on. I applied some eyeliner, then, finished it off with some mascara to my top lashes. It had been so long, I had almost forgotten how to apply makeup.
Just as I finished, Cyn came back with a yellow sun dress that didn't have any sleeves. It went to the knee and flared out.
I grinned, taking the dress from Cynthia's hands. I closed the door as I slipped my black long sleeved shirt off and baggy pants. I slipped the dress over my head.
I hadn't realized how thin I had gotten. the dress was three sizes to big in my midsection. It was extremely big, so I called Cyn in to help me. Cyn stared at the dress for a minute, than went to my room. She came back with a white belt.
Cynthia fastened the belt around my waist as tight as it would go, then stepped back to look. She tapped her chin. "It's missing something," She muttered.
Cyn snapped her fingers, then scurried back to my room. I heard rustling and she came back with a broach. It was shaped like a daisy and it was silver. I felt tears prick my eyes.
"What's wrong, Windy love," Cyn asked, taking my hands. "It was my mother's broach. She died a few years ago," I answered. Cyn.wrapped her arms around me in a hug.
"I'm so sorry, Windy," Cynthia breathed. I shook my head. "It's a'right, Cyn," I said. Cy n smiled and pinned the pin on my dress.
Cynthia stepped back and admired her work. She turned me around and braided my hair on the side. When she finished, her face lit up.
She turned me to face the mirror. "Look how beautiful you are, love," Cynthia whispered. I broke into tears. I actually looked pretty. My pale skin tone complied with my blue eyes. My auburn hair had a little more life to it. I actually felt alive for the first time in a while.
I turned around. "Thank you, Cynthia," I breathed. Cyn smiled softly and wrapped her arms around me. I softly cried into her shoulder. Cynthia just rubbed my back.
I felt better than I had in years. I sobbed into Cynthia's shoulder. She seemed to understand and just held me tighter.
I had felt so broken, like a flower broken from it's stem. I felt so much better, so found. I actually felt alive.
I finally pulled myself back together and fixed my makeup. Cynthia pulled a pair of white heels out of my closet. I slipped them onto my feet and walked down the stairs with Cynthia.
As we walked down, Richard and George looked our way. Richard's eyes widened, then he grinned. George slowly got up and walked towards me.
He stood in front of me for a minute. "Hey beautiful," He whispered. I grinned and looked down. George softly lifted my chin up. I looked him in the eyes before his gently pressed his lips against mine.
I pulled away and smiled. "Me and Cynthia are going to the proper,"'I said. "We'll be back soon." My brother just nodded, still smiling.
Cynthia and I walked to the door and walked to the store. We later got there and I excused myself to look for the thing I needed. I headed to the pharmacy.
I found the item where I thought it would be. I picked up three of the items and quickly paid. The lady at the counter gave me a sympathetic smile and I weakly returned it.
I walked to the bathroom. About ten minutes later, I looked at all three of the items. Two of which, read the same thing.
