I woke up with a huge smile on my face. I was thinking about Ryan, mom, dad, and not having to go to school. I got up and got dressed before going to the kitchen for food.

Mom- Hi ready to go?
Me- Yeah is dad ready?
Mom- What do you mean is he ready?
Me- He said that he got the weekend off so he can spend time with us.
Mom- Wow honey, he did that?
Me- Yeah he called yesterday requesting the weekend off so he can reconnect and spend valuable time with us.
Mom- Awe that was so sweet of him let me wake him.
Me- ok you do that...
I then walked upstairs and got my stuff and went downstairs after I got dressed and I saw both my parents getting their stuff in the car.

I woke up and went to talk to mom and dad.
Me- Hey mom and dad
Mom- Hey Ry
Dad- Hey bud
Me- so I invited one of my friends over today.
Dad- Ok that is alright.
Mom- Hey Ryan can we talk son.
Me- Yeah?
We walked up to my room to talk.
Mom- Is this friend male or female?
Me- Why does it matter mom?
Mom- Because I want you to be safe that is why it matters?
